  • Good afternoon,

I hope you have all had a good weekend.

@Tatty_ - All cashback sites use the same affiliate networks to process cashback, so the time it takes for the cashback to be paid will depend on the retailer and network, as opposed to the cashback site. As soon as we receive the cashback from the retailer, we pass this straight on to you.

If you haven’t already, could you please raise a support ticket with the Quidcare Team (http://www.quidco.com/support-contact-us) regarding this? If you put FAO Rosie at the top of your ticket, I will certainly take a look into this for you. It does seem rather a long wait for Holland & Barrett.

@shaftingham – To be completely honest with you, we don’t tend to find that an abnormal number of gambling transactions fail to track, generally they track at the same percentage as every other type of retailer. Do also remember that your purchase is tracked by an affiliate network, rather than the retailer. It does seem that you have had a lot of purchases fail to track, and this could be something to do with the browser settings or the security software you are using, especially as you have had the problem on more than one cashback site.

@Heyman – We do realise that it isn’t ideal and can be frustrating, and we are always working on and looking for new ways to improve the site. At the moment it isn’t possible for the statistics to reflect purchases that are still tracking or going through the normal process, as this would reflect every single purchase, some of which won’t have been completed or will have been declined. The statistics are to reflect the amount of time it takes for the payment to be made, and as more payments come through for each retailer, the statistics will change to reflect this.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

Nope. Not at all. Firstly, I always do the test track first, which always confirms all is OK.

Secondly, EVERY claim I have made on both sites APPEARS in the drop down menu on the claims facility, and shows the CORRECT time I visited the retailer before purchasing which means the tracking was working OK.

Wow I just earnt £4974 of earnings for buying flowers - according to my quidco account

Something tells me the gremlins are at work. 4 issues. quidcare support is useless. Feels like Quidco are sinking in the mire !:(
***Update*** after ringing head office, the lovely Julie rang me and has got most of it sorted. It's a shame it had to get this far to be resolved but credit where credit is due.

I have just had a message from quidco stating that my marks and spencer cashback has been declined, but from what I can see it was paid on the 1st oct. I have no idea what this means and you cant send a message to Dominic(quidco) asking what this is about. Also from my account I have outstanding payments that have been tracked but not paid from over a year ago... Sorry Quidco but its not good enough.
  • This is a message for Stephen ( the quidco representative)

I purchased Devitt Motorbike Insurance on the 16th Nov 2010.
I raised a claim in July this year as it showed as tracked but nothing else.
It was declined about a month ago so I raised a Cashback claim as wanted to know why it was declined as am sure I only went on the site once.

Today quidco have emailed me with an explanation on why my Bennetts Bike Insurance was declined.

I can only assume that the person who doubt with my query has got confused as Bennetts and Devitt are diiferent companies. I can fully understand why the Bennetts one didn't get paid as I never took a policy out with them.

Yet my Devitt one is about to come round for renewal.
Do I need to resubmit the Cashback claim for Devitt?

P.S. Before you think I am some kind of compulsive gambler, like many I use CB offers to refund my stake and see it as a no-lose wager

That's the way I looked at it. I never deposited anything more than the promised cashback so if I lost (which I did on all of them) then the cashback would (and hopefully should) cover it.

Anyway, I'm rather gobsmacked to find that my Gala payment has actually confirmed!. Albeit confirmed at £15 quid when the promised cashback was £20.

Anyway, I would like to know if it's possible to just keep the payments on my account until absolutely everything has tracked and confirmed and then pay it all out in one hit ?

    Rosie,

I have marked a support ticket for your attention and will be interested in your reply.

With regards to your comments that 'All cashback sites use the same affiliate networks to process cashback, so the time it takes for the cashback to be paid will depend on the retailer and network, as opposed to the cashback site', I would point out that my order which was placed with TCB in April, was in fact paid in June. Everytime I order with TCB, I receive my cashback quicker than if I place the order with Quidco.

The only reason I went through Quidco in February was that you were offering a much better deal at the time. I'd actually forgotten that TCB would honour the higher rate so could've saved myself all this hassle!

I've just had an email advising my RAC cashback has been declined. I paid for this in full at time of purchase. I ALWAYS clear my cookies before going through to a merchant. Really starting to pee me off now all the things being declined. I'm still waiting for cashback from Morethan home insuance (Mar!) and Halifax current account (Aug). I've raised claims on both and just told that quidco are working on them.

I've raised a declined cashback query now for RAC. What a farce. sits there tracked from the moment i bought the cover and then declines months later :(

£103 owed and no nearer to ever getting it

Oh b*gger - wish you hadn't have said that; I bought MoreThan home+contents insurance in April and it tracked correctly at £60. I was hoping to get this soon to help with xmas shopping but you're a month earlier than me and still haven't got yours. Kinda puts the kybosh on yet another of my dreams of actually being paid within the stated timescale. Starting to get a bit repetetive this disappointment.

And yes, WHY do TCB pay out quicker on the same deals????? Still never had a cogent answer to that one......

No, Quidco automatically pay you every 15 days, TCB you can leave it and withdraw it when you choose as you seem to prefer.

As for gambling, I had the rule of playing until I either lost, or freed my bonus, whichever came first. If I freed the bonus I would withdraw when I had doubled my tenner or made £10 profit on my £20 or whatever minimum deposit was stated, then quit playing the site.
