I have to say that my experiences of Quidco are....
Tracking has got worse and I have to claim far more than I used to.
Sometimes it can take best part of a year to get some money in.
They have funny rules like - can only appeal after certain time and then if you forget the window to query closes.
    BUT....
Apart from a bookie that just said no end of.....which was total fraud, I have had all the money that I abided by the rules for and appealled in the right timeframes.

I have had over £2K from them and I am very happy.

And here is just one more saga that needs addressing!

This time for £70 and from AVIVA Car insurance.

AND I am still awaiting the outcome of my claim for a Currys purchase made on 7/8/11.

    Cashback £13.50

As it hasn't been 3 Mths yet I guess this one will go on the neverending merry-go-round too.

    It's free money. Just wait....

    Good morning,

@shaftingham – That’s great news! I have actually been trying to contact you via email to advise you of the delays, but I’ve been receiving a Delivery Status Notification. Have you changed your email address since our last correspondence on 3 October 2011?

@Froggitt – I do understand your points, however if we were to stop working with the network, then not only would we lose a lot of retailers who use that particular network, but all of the cashback along with it. As the network has now been taken over and reshuffled, all issues that they were previously having have now been addressed, and we shouldn’t encounter the same issue with them again.

In regards to your in-store purchases, we are working through these and are hoping to have some of the oldest transactions paid over the next two months.

@mum26 – If they aren’t able to offer you any more information on this then this will mean that we haven’t actually received any updates from the retailer or network ourselves, unfortunately. We will pass onto you all the information we have in regards to payments and delays, but I'm afraid until we receive an update or the cashback from the retailer, we cannot pass this on to you.

@rizla01 – I’m not completely sure what you are referring to by this, could you please clarify further? Aviva claims do take around 6 months to be confirmed, as stated on their cashback statistics and as stated in my previous response. Do note that claims are different to transactions that track in naturally, and transactions that track in naturally will usually be confirmed after around 3 months.

@gillette147 – Thank you for your comments! It’s great to hear that you have saved that much with us. We know that the cashback industry is in no way perfect, and things do go wrong from time to time that are unfortunately out of our control. At the end of the day, though, we’re here to help you save money, and we do really appreciate your feedback, whether it be good or bad!

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

Great - no reason then why you shouldnt guarantee to your members that you will stop doing business with the networks not paying up on time.

I look forward to the announcement.

Ok, here's an idea. How about Quidco institutes a system akin to a traffic light system ?
Green: Transaction is tracked and payment is confirmed and received in short order. No problems reported.

Amber: Transaction is tracked, or tracked with a slight delay and payment is also eventually confirmed, maybe after raising a claim. But within, say, 30 days, the transaction is fully confirmed, tracked and paid out.

Red: Transaction still hasn't tracked after, say, 60 days, despite raising a claim.

Or transaction has tracked, but payment is still not confirmed after 60 days, despite raising a claim.

Either way, retailer dragging their heels.

That way, it would be easier for people who use Quidco to identify reputable retailers who track and payout quickly over those who might take a long time.

It could be implemented relatively easily as well with a simple button system for each retailer that you could select once the transaction has been completed. To prevent mis-use, it could check your Quidco account to verify you've actually completed a transaction with that retailer as well.

It might also have the added knock-on effect of giving some retailers a kick up the backside if they see on the site they've been rated as "Red" for '"avoid".

    Good idea ?

Are you being serious - CLARIFY FURTHER???

How clear does my complaint need to be?

I am awaiting payment of my cashback (£70) from my purchase of Car Insurance from AVIVA.

If you could make it clear WHICH part of that statement you don't understand, Rosie, than I shall be more than happy to attempt to make it clearer for you.

Now, YOU now state that AVIVA claims NORMALLY take 6 Mths but that is not mentioned on the page where you look to find the offer that AVIVA are making at the time and NEITHER does Stephen, mention it in ANY of his replies!

Is this just a well kept secret and if so why?

Why dont Quidco give their users more information about what is happening with outstanding claims.

I have 5 claims raised open now since May & June, and heard nothing.

Along with too many non-tracking instances this has really been the last straw for me.

But my AVIVA claim HASN'T EVEN TRACKED!!!

Perhaps someone aught to read my original post in FULL.

It should have TRACKED by now, surely Ms Quidco Company Rep?
