I am still waiting for Budget car insurance to be paid £35.It is well over a year now and it tracked immediately after purchasing.I raised a ticket months ago and i am told its not been paid due to a processing delay between Budget and their affiliate network. We take these purchases out and expect to be paid. How can we trust Quidco because its a gamble if were going to be paid.Quidco should offer some kind of guarantee if they are to survive.I personally use Top cashback now as i feel they are more genuine.Do not buy expensive products and expect to get cash back because you probably wont.

    Good afternoon,

@ukphd - Could you please email juliewells@quidco.com with your Quidco user ID, I'll be happy to take a further look into this for you.

@peterx - Due to the way that the cashback industry works at the moment, I'm afraid it is impossible for us to guarantee that cashback will be paid and indeed how quickly it will be paid, as much as we'd like to. Budget are unfortunately quite far behind with payments at the moment, although we have been making a lot of progress with them and we are hoping for payments to start coming through very soon.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

    Quidco rep.......

I regularly place orders with Holland and Barrett and up until about 18months ago I would receive my cashback within approx 2months of the order.

All of a sudden this started to slip, but only in so far as Quidco are concerned, TCB remain consistent. Your site lists the stats as follows:

    Payment speed
    Less than 4 months

    (from tracking date)
    26% paid within 60 days

    13% paid between 60 to 90 days

    54% paid between 90 to 180 days

7% paid after 180 days or more

My order tracked immediately in February, and yet here I am with it still sitting as tracked (now that we cannot see confirmed), some 8 mths later.

I cannot believe that I am always one of the 7% that take over 180days every time I place an order with Quidco, whereas if I place an order with TCB, I become one of the 93%? What is happening?

Me as well :). I've been waiting over 3 months for Gala Bingo. I've also just opened two claims for Santander and ME Casino. I fully expect to have to open another two for Rogers Bingo and JackpotJoy in the near future as well.

It's probably over £90 quid's worth of promised cashback and that alone is the reason I haven't walked away from Quidco.

It's probably over £90 quid's worth of promised cashback and that alone is the reason I haven't walked away from Quidco.

You've hit the nail on the head here - the shady, high profit, high greed world of online gaming. It's just struck me too that aside from Nokia (now paid) on Quidco ALL my problem transactions are for gambling related firms - on Quido I have claims outstanding for £35 BidRivals (penny bid auction site basically a lottery site) and £50 888.com poker; they didn't track, I raised a claim and apparently they are tracked/acknowledged now according to Quidco but haven't paid in 7 months since. Moneygaming DID track but is months past it's advertised payment date as is 888games on TCB.

It's just as bad on TCB - Bingo Cams didn't track but claim has now been paid, same with Tombola. Sun Bingo, Jackpot Joy, Eurogrand and Betclic Sportsbook never tracked and all are in claim status. On ALL the above examples I met the minimum requirements for cashback or better. I've done purchases of goods just before or just after many of these transactions, and guess what? They all tracked.....

So out of TEN gambling transactions; 3 on Quidco, one tracked and very late in paying (still waiting) and 2 in claim still, after 7 months unpaid.

7 on TCB; GB Slots tracked and paid promptly :T Tombola and Bingo Cams never tracked but paid after claim, but quite quickly. Sun Bingo, Jackpot Joy, Eurogrand and Betclic Sportsbook never tracked and all are in claim status.

So, on both TCB and Quidco combined I have had a 10% success rate on gambling transactions that tracked and paid on their own.

    70% Remain unpaid

Only 30% tracked at all. 90% require(d) a claim for either no tracking or long overdue payment. To date I have not received a single penny from Quidco relating to gambling purchases, despite opening an account with Quidco 3 months before I even joined TCB where 3 have paid out, 2 after a non-tracking claim.

WHAT IS THE OBVIOUS PROBLEM WITH GAMBLING SITE TRACKING??

Form your own conclusions. Cashback sites love the gambling companies as they are big earners, or should I say vice-versa. Yet they are patently the slowest paying most recalcitrant affiliates causing possibly most headaches for CB sites and us poor customers, yet they continue to promote them and disguise this terrible payment record behind clearly false and exaggerated payment-speed and tracking claims.

VERY IMPORTANT - Affiliates of gambling sites, or those commission sites that people link to Gambling sites through, not only get a (substantial) fee for a new depositing player, but often receive a percentage of that player's deposits or losses for the life of the player at that site.

    Any comment Quidco?????

P.S. Before you think I am some kind of compulsive gambler, like many I use CB offers to refund my stake and see it as a no-lose wager, on 4 sites I profited plus get my stake back in CB, on 6 I lost the stake but it should be covered by CB (eventually) and on one of those 6 I played far more than the CB.

    Good morning,

@mum26 – Sorry about that, I did check this with our payments team and PrePayMania have changed affiliate networks, and all payments on their current network are up to date. Unfortunately there is still an outstanding batch of claims from the old network that we are still chasing up. The statistics on the PrePayMania page currently reflect the new network, so these statistics are correct in relation to the network they are on now. We are still working on the older batch of claims from the old network, in which your transaction is included. I am very sorry for how long this is taking to resolve, but we are doing all we can and we are certainly not complacent about this.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

    Rosie,

I think Quidco needs to get its house in order on this. You can't have stats up on your site about a merchant saying 100% paid within 180 days and yet still have people on this thread waiting to be paid over 180 days later, whatever the circumstances.

It's disingenuous. 100% paid to me means that EVERY outstanding tracked transaction for that merchant has been paid within that time. If you're cherry picking where you get the 100% from then you shouldn't be using that in the stats as it's incorrect and misleading.

    Good afternoon,

I hope you have all had a good weekend.

@Tatty_ - All cashback sites use the same affiliate networks to process cashback, so the time it takes for the cashback to be paid will depend on the retailer and network, as opposed to the cashback site. As soon as we receive the cashback from the retailer, we pass this straight on to you.

If you haven’t already, could you please raise a support ticket with the Quidcare Team (http://www.quidco.com/support-contact-us) regarding this? If you put FAO Rosie at the top of your ticket, I will certainly take a look into this for you. It does seem rather a long wait for Holland & Barrett.

@shaftingham – To be completely honest with you, we don’t tend to find that an abnormal number of gambling transactions fail to track, generally they track at the same percentage as every other type of retailer. Do also remember that your purchase is tracked by an affiliate network, rather than the retailer. It does seem that you have had a lot of purchases fail to track, and this could be something to do with the browser settings or the security software you are using, especially as you have had the problem on more than one cashback site.

@Heyman – We do realise that it isn’t ideal and can be frustrating, and we are always working on and looking for new ways to improve the site. At the moment it isn’t possible for the statistics to reflect purchases that are still tracking or going through the normal process, as this would reflect every single purchase, some of which won’t have been completed or will have been declined. The statistics are to reflect the amount of time it takes for the payment to be made, and as more payments come through for each retailer, the statistics will change to reflect this.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

Wow I just earnt £4974 of earnings for buying flowers - according to my quidco account

Something tells me the gremlins are at work. 4 issues. quidcare support is useless. Feels like Quidco are sinking in the mire !:(
***Update*** after ringing head office, the lovely Julie rang me and has got most of it sorted. It's a shame it had to get this far to be resolved but credit where credit is due.
