It doesn't have to work like this, I have my Quidco account set up so it pays out when I get to a certain amount. (Got £138 this month so I'm happy!)Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Good afternoon,
@shaftingham – Even though the correct time and date may appear in the drop down box, this is just because it has recorded the time that you have clicked through to the retailer. The affiliate networks then have to track whether you completed the transaction or not. It could be at this point that the tracking is failing or being blocked. We know the tracking process is far from perfect, and there is certainly a lot of work that can be done to improve it. Unfortunately it is just one of the downfalls of the cashback industry at the moment.
@TrishaM & @molerat – I’m really sorry about this. The email was sent out to some members in error in regards to historic declined transactions. We do apologise sincerely for the upset and inconvenience that this may have caused and we have now rectified the error.
@pheobesmove – I’m afraid this is relating to the issue above. The email was related to your historic Bennetts transaction, whilst your Devitts claim is still being investigated by the Quidcare Team. As soon as they do receive an update, they will make sure that you are informed of this.
@jasonwatkins – You can certainly do this, and there are several ways to do it. You can either:
a) Send the Quidcare Team a support ticket and request for your payments to be put on hold until further notice. You’ll just need to let us know a couple of days before the payment run that you wish for your account to be taken off hold.
b) Set your minimum payout to something that you won’t be reaching, e.g. £5000. That way nothing will be paid out unless you reach that amount. You can then change the minimum payout to £0 when you want to receive your payment.
@Tatty_ - I’ll keep an eye out for your ticket and see if I can find out what the issue is for you.
@cantcope – I’m very sorry to hear that your cashback was declined, and we hate it when this happens too. The last thing we want is for you to be unhappy. We’ll send off your cashback claims to see if we can find out why the retailer has declined your cashback, and we will do all we can to reach a swift and hopefully positive outcome for you.
Kind regards,

I would have done the same, but unfortunately I lost every bloody time. Still, i decided a few months ago that whatever my final balance is on Quidco it'll all go towards paying off my catalogue account.

Thankyou Rosie, that's a bloody good idea - i'll do that now.0 -

^^ Wot Froggitt said. Get the money as soon as it is available as per Martin's advice. Too many cashback companies have gone to the wall and not paid out customer's "stored up for christmas" cash.0

To Quidco rep
Summary
15 Jul AA cashback tracked
04 Sep declined
09 Sep claim raised
15 Oct reply from quidco:
I have noticed that you raised a missing cashback claim instead of a declined cashback claim but please do not worry as I have now raised the correct type of claim for you, which will be sent to the retailer to be looked into.
17 Oct from quidco:
Hi,
We're sorry to see that your cashback has been declined by AA UK Breakdown.
Cashback can be declined due to a number of reasons, which we've listed below for you:
* The purchase was returned, cancelled or the order amended.
* The purchase was not completed wholly online.
* You didn't clear your cookies before you made your purchase and another referrer has been awarded the cashback commission (e.g. a price comparison site).
* You didn't comply with the terms and conditions of Quidco or the retailer.
* A voucher code or gift code not authorised by Quidco was used.
* The merchant has ceased trading or has gone into administration.
* The retailer has tracked your purchase twice and is simply declining the duplicate transaction.
If you're sure that none of the above reasons apply, please raise a declined cashback claim and we'll happily go back to the retailer to ask them to investigate further for us. At the very least we'll be able to find out why theyÕve taken this decision.
17 Oct I have raised another claim as I have done everything as it should have been
18 Oct reply from quidco
Hi,
Unfortunately, we have had a system error, which has resulted in me writing to you over the last couple of days about one or more declined transactions on your Quidco account.
If you have been unable to raise a claim, I regret it is too late for us to take action for you now. The reason for this is that we are unable to ask a retailer to process a claim if more than 45 days have passed since the transaction was declined, and you should never have had the ticket advising to you do this.
I do apologise sincerely for the upset and inconvenience that this may have caused, and please be assured that steps have been taken to ensure that an error of this nature doesnt occur again.
18 Oct I have sent a complaint to quidco as all my tickets were within 45 days from the date cashback was declined and I am not happy with the way Quidco treats customers
Any advice please....:(0 -
Yup. Wait for @quidco to come online and fob you off.illegitimi non carborundum0

@ Quidco Rep Re: More Than Home Insurance Cashback - Declined
I've received the following message, but as I raised a claim easily within 45 days, I'm unsure why or how this even applies?
Regards,
Matt

Hi Quidco,
Bought a watch from Goldsmiths on July 22nd via Quidco (hoping to earn 15% cashback). Had to manually get this tracked as it was not done as other purchases I make via quidco that track easily. Have email Julie Wells (end Aug) and she advised me to wait until the end of October...however my Oct payment has reached my bank £13 :-(
Emailed Julie again yesterday and still waiting a reply.
My Quidco activity page still shows Goldsmiths, Claim Raised (23Aug)
£287.50 I am expecting....I bought this Watch on the strength of the Quidco cashback.0
