Before you start shouting again I know exactly what you are saying - you raised a claim, which maybe Quidco told you has been accepted by the retailer and despite that it doesn't show as tracked. Nor did my Nokia one (that I just got paid after 7 months) ever track.
A claim appears in light blue in your list of transactions, and seems to stay as 'claim raised' until it actually pays or is declined. It never ever says 'tracked' - it will just go to from 'claim raised' to 'confirmed' if and when it pays.
Thinking about it it is quite logical as tracking is an automated process and if it doesn't automatically track then it won't state 'tracked'.
I do though see your point and room for improvement here on the claims process, as Quidco should manually enter the 'tracked' status when the retailer confirms the transaction after your claim so you can see it. Ay the moment all you see is a very subtle change in the date in the 'last updated' column on the right, which tells you burger-all about how your claim has been updated!
TCB manually enter your status on claims so you can see it's tracked/confirmed/payable. If Quidco did this, half this thread would have been unnecessary as questions would have been resolved before being asked.UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0 -
Morning Quidco,
Is there still an issue with PrePayMania?
I have a tracked transaction outstanding from Feb 24th.
I've chased via a ticket a couple of times - last on Sept 9th, but just been told the affiliate network is behind with processing.
It's now been about 230 days.
Quidco stats say:-
29% paid within 60 days
55% paid between 60 to 90 days
16% paid between 90 to 180 days

Good morning,
@jasonwatkins - It is a good idea and we do always appreciate any ideas or comments you have for the site. We will soon be launching our new merchant reviews, so you will soon be able to leave comments about all our of merchants, and this will hopefully provide members with more information to make their decision as to whether or not to use the merchant.
@rizla01 – Sorry, my post was referring to the statement that we were not being truthful, when we did state that Aviva claims take 6 months to be confirmed, which is correct. I just wanted you to clarify why you thought that this was untruthful, although I do now see where the confusion was! 6 months is the amount of time that a claim takes to be confirmed in your account from the claim submission date, as opposed to the amount of time it takes to track into your account. Claims will never appear as ‘tracked’, they will stay at ‘claim raised’ status until the cashback comes through, at which point they will update to confirmed status. I hope this makes it a little clearer for you, it seems we got our wires crossed a little there.
@dutchie – You can certainly receive an update to your claims, you just need to go to our self help centre and select the question – “Why has my cashback claim not updated to confirmed yet?”, and the Quidcare Team will then be happy to advise you on the status of your claim.
@ctdctd – That does seem like a long time to be waiting, I’m not aware of any delays with their transactions at the moment. Can I ask you to send an email to juliewells@quidco.com, and I can certainly take a look into this for you.
Kind regards,

Hi
I have 2 queries I hope someone can help with.
Firstly - do the orange offers for mobile phone sim cards on quidco only apply to new orange customers? It doesn't say. I have a monthly contract with orange and want to buy a sim only plan but it doesn't say if the cashback is applicable to existing orange customers.
Secondly - I am still waiting for cashback to be paid from a sony laptop I bought direct from sony.co.uk last november! I have submitted numerous queries and I get the stock, copy and pasted reply saying quidco are looking in to it but as it's coming up for nearly a year now I'd like a proper answer as to why it's taking so long please? Are there known issues with sony?
thanks

Hi,
Just asking about the £5 a year. Is it £5 from January to December or is it £5 from when you join?
In otherwords, if I was to join in December would it be worth it?
Thanks0 -

@mum26 – If they aren’t able to offer you any more information on this then this will mean that we haven’t actually received any updates from the retailer or network ourselves, unfortunately. We will pass onto you all the information we have in regards to payments and delays, but I'm afraid until we receive an update or the cashback from the retailer, we cannot pass this on to you.
Point being that it is misleading to claim 100% are paid within 180 days when 100% are clearly not, this gives a false impression to other customers looking through trying to choose which retailer offers the best deal, because if they, like I did think oh prepaymania have the same price as x but I will get £7 cashback if I order through them but then never recieve that cashback you've diddled them out of choosing a different deal that may well have actually paid out.0 -

It's a rolling 12-month period, obviously. Any of the 365 days until it's anniversary.UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0 -
Good morning,
@ukphd – This will be fine, as long as you are not upgrading your current contract and are purchasing a new SIM only contract, then you will still be eligible for cashback.
I believe Sony are quite far behind with claim payments at the moment, can you just clarify if this is a claim or a normal transaction?
@ziggycj – The year will run from the date of your sign up, e.g. 24 March 2010 – 23 March 2011.
@mum26 – Sorry about that, I did check this with our payments team and PrePayMania have changed affiliate networks, and all payments on their current network are up to date. Unfortunately there is still an outstanding batch of claims from the old network that we are still chasing up. The statistics on the PrePayMania page currently reflect the new network, so these statistics are correct in relation to the network they are on now. We are still working on the older batch of claims from the old network, in which your transaction is included. I am very sorry for how long this is taking to resolve, but we are doing all we can and we are certainly not complacent about this.
