Just flipped to OES14, anyone got a link to the PDF as I can't find it?

I am currently on Online Energy Reward (no standing charge) with scottish power, this runs out on the 31st of July and after that they are putting me on the standard tarrif, if i call them to say i reject this and inform them that i will be switching providers can i remain on my old tarrif until the switch has taken place?

No, because your tariff is expiring. You can reject a price increase, as long as you initiate a switch within 15 days.
However you are not incurring a price increase on your existing tariff, you are simply being switched to a new tariff. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Currently with SP online energy saver 12 no standing charge. Estimated annual usage: elec 5996, gas 16483 currently pay £88 fixed DD per month.
Been through a few of the search engines & EDF online saver v10 is cheapest closely followed by Pioneer (co op). Most are yet to hike their prices but Pioneer have no penalty fees so seem a safer bet, short term anyway. They do however have SC of £63 per fuel which off sets some of the savings I guess.
With £30 cash back (assuming it tracks) & £50 off 1st bill seems a safe bet?
Have I covered everything before I jump ship?0 -
Will i be penalised if i switch now? Theres no chance the changeover will happen before 31st of july is there?
Think i'll take the jump to npower and their Go Fix 6 tarrif or EDF Fixed s@ver 2, depending on cashback offers available.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

With EDF yet to announce rises surely this will affect v10 when they do? Where as V2 prices are fixed till september 2012?
Just found this:A spokesman for Moneysupermarket.com said: “This is a huge increase. Now really is the time to get on to the best-priced energy tariff for your usage level and area you live.
“The cheapest online energy tariff is currently Online Saver 10 offered by EDF Energy with average annual bills of £940 but, in the face of rising prices, opting for the market-leading fixed product Fix Saver v2, from EDF Energy with average bills of £1,009, is the best way to safeguard against further price increases from the energy giants.”TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
I have been a customer of Scottish Power for several years. Following the anouncement of their hike in gas prices I thought it time to move, and compared prices through one of the sites recommended by Martin Lewis.
I wanted fixed price for as long as possible, and after doing the comparisons opted for a supplier that would charge me about £16 a year more than my current bill from Scottish Power but fixed for 2 years. Then just to make sure I was doing the right thing I checked with Scottish Power and Bingo! I was able to go on to a new tariff with them fixed until the end of 2014 and saving me £300 a year based on current prices.:T0 -
You could spend £175 on paying a 19% hike to stay with Scottish Power's Online 12 tarrif. Or give them a call and switich to Online 14, where the tarrif seems to remain unchanged. Or that's what the Scottish Power lady on the phone told me. Is she right?0
