It may seem you are saving money by paying less per month but i very much doubt the tariff is cheaper.Sooner or later you will end up owing money and your monthly payments will shoot up.

It may not happen just yet as it's summer but honestly,it will,I'm afraid.

    Hi all,

Can I switch before 30th June and not incur fines?

Also should I fix with sp till 2013 and get the 60£ cash back with energy helpline ? Works out as £49 more over a year. Flat rate w/o cash back is 14% rise or should I go with ons14 with sp works out 5% cheaper at the mo.

Or flip side go edf fixed till 2012?

    Thx

Does anyone know if the comparison sites include the new increases for SP?

    I'm on OES12.

Any tips before I call them? Is there likely to be a cheaper tariff with them they will allow me to move or will they waive my exit fee to move elsewhere?

Finally decided to switch away from SP. As I only have a 15 day window once I advise them, when would you sugest I tell SP that I am rejecting their price rise given the 14 day cooling off period when switching. Also is it acceptable to email rather than call? Cheers.
