The more I read about asda online shopping, the more I wonder why its so popular. How dare they refuse to refund your frozen food. I think the complaint needs to go higher. Good luck

Just had a call from the' help desk' saying the home shopping mgr from the store will call me back to tlak to me about the 'missing items; (ALL of my frozen food) and arrange a delivery time/date for me.... but again they are unsure as to when this call would be.... or when my items would be delivered

so back to the waiting game again...

elff the problems you are having are the reason I stopped using asda for my shopping. There was hardly ever a week that went by where there wasn't some kind of problem. The last straw was when they cancelled my order because of "bad weather" except the weather was much worse the previous week and they managed to deliver then and if that wasn't annoying enough they still took the money from my account!

I've been using tesco ever since and had no problems at all, even when we had really bad snow in the winter they always delivered.

    Yes.

I didn't want to say cancel Asda and get your shopping from Tesco because I didn't think it would have been seen as helpful but it really does seem that it would be your best bet.

Asda seem to get more complaints than any other supermarket here so the best option if probably to 'vote with your feet'.

Tesco can be just as bad. My shopping never arrived on time and I was told they were running late. Got fobbed off with that several times then they phoned back and said the driver was running so late hed gone back to the store and my shopping wouldnt be delivered.

They said if I wanted though I could go to the store and pick it up. They very 'kindly' offered to refund my delivery charge!!!!! So I ended up driving a 70 min round trip to collect it.

Had various orders arrive damaged and incomplete. Id never use Tesco again

On the other hand Ive had NO issues whatsoever with Asda lol

Any company will have the occasional glitch.

It's just that Asda seem to get far more complaints than anyone else. And that's not just on this site.

I realise anyone can have glitches but that was one of very many problems I had with Tesco and I know of a lot of other people whove had similar problems.

No company is perfect but with MY experience I wouldnt go near Tesco online again.

I dont know if its a general Tesco thing or if it was a challenge my local store had but jeezo the substitutions they picked were at best random.... there was at best a tentative link lol I often wondered if the staff had a competition to pick the most bizarre items to substitute :)
