Petit Palace Garden Ramblas - £161 a night on easyjet only £92 on travelrepublic. double the diff means a 4 star ramblas hotel for 20 quid odd inc breakfast!!
if that isnt available why not stroll a little further down las ramblas and stay at the H10 Montcada £391 for 2 nights in Feb but £144 on find-rooms.com or £174 on hotelpronto. so a freebe or £25! a night (with rooftop jacuzzi
how did you book two more when you can only book once a calander month?
cheers by the way, just got a thomson 4*+ hotel for £247 all inclusive for week in lanzarote!0 -

Just read this thread - what a loophole! I'd really like to book an easter break, still fairly flexible on destination. I don't really have the funds to book it immediately, but hopefully in the next couple of months; how likely is it that hotelopia will withdraw the guarantee? Should I book now while I still can, or wait until closer to the time?2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
No one knows if or when the offer will be withdrawn.
Easyjet do double the difference. Hotelopia refund the difference only.
It's a gamble, I'm waiting till the 27th to book mine as CC statement produced then.
If I book before I will have to pay in full then get credit on next statement where I may get credit back before March due date on Feb statement if I wait.I have a cunning plan!

just had this reply from hotelopiaI would like to assure you that your claim has been taken under consideration. We will have to await an approval from our Financial department. We will get back to you shortly.
is this what other people have had too? any idea how long it takes to get approval from the financial dept?Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
Don't worry wishiwasarichgirl, i got a similar email saying they sent my claim to the headoffice for approval one day after i submitted, and then got another email confirmation that the difference will be refunded to me after almost a week, don't know why it would take so long, but hey as long as they refund it, i don't care. If you don't hear anything from them for 2 or 3 days, why not send in a nice mail to check what's the status of your claim.0

Is a week long enough to cancel without having to pay a high price if they dont honour the promise? Which site did you use for comparison?0

First post - Can anyone tell me that if Hotelopia come back and agree the price match, will Easyjet automatically give you that back again or do you need to contact them again. I booked a 4* hotel in Barcelona yesterday for £323 - priice on DIYtrave was £140 difference being £183 x 2 = £366 so should get all of it refunded. i have had an automated e-mail from Easyjet and one from Hotelopia saying that they have sent to finance. Thanks0

provided its the same room type and board basis, max 1 week stay, it shouldnt be a problem.0

As I found that hotepronto website asks you to choose room type before the search starts, so as a result on the search result page you can only see price for either "double" room or "twin" room depends on the room type you choose, I'm worried that if I submit a claim based on the double room fare, easyjet can always argue their price is based on double or twin room, so it's not exactly the same room type as they claimed in the t&c....
I remember hotelpronto is one of the website in Budgetflyer's list, so wondering if anyone has claimed based on their fare already can show me some light?0
