Hmmm just a pointer but a) easyjet dont fly to reykjavik but i got my double difference back, someone on here got their Crete hol confirmed and on the bottom of every listing it points out a double the difference

mmm... this is a newer condition, util 2 o 3 weeks ago this requirement not exists.

I refer to page 10 post 371 by Cumbrian Male of this very thread where the t&cs are quoted

vii) easyJetHotels will not reimburse clients if the compared product is part of a package, is shown in a currency different to that quoted by easyJetHotels, if the competitor rate is not offered by a UK bonded travel agency and/or if the rate is offered on a branded hotel chain website.

With this added clause,only the destinations in the drop down box will be valid.

x) The claimer must be the credit cardholder. Shall only be accepted one claim per month and cardholder.

So no using the same card in different names either. oh well.

actually i am pleased, it means they are committed to keeping the guarantee open.

just waiting for the barcelona hotel - the price which has now dropped by £300 on easyjethotels! and also off to Barcelona on Monday for a cheap stay. god i love barcelona.

The new condition makes perfect sense from easyJet's point of view, why would they want to give us double when they aren't even the carrier.

Now to pick the collective legal minds of MSE, if booking flights car and hotel all with easy company websites, does this constitute a "package" tour?

I took a screen shot of their T&C's on 13th Feb and it was not there then ! They are definately fighting back. I still havn't had my claim approved, which was booked on 9th Feb. I have spoken twice on the phone and sent emais every other day.
