    I found on diytravel and travelrepublic that there cheap Twin and Double rooms, but "Double/Twin Satandard" rooms are double the price. Would that qualify? Hotelopedia has only Double/Twin Standard rooms


    Twin - Bed and breakfast - £533.00
    Double - Bed and breakfast - £533.00
    Double/Twin Standard Room only - £1188.00
    *Upgrade to Bed and breakfast - £1322.00

    Ive noticed this too on a few occasions Dusan. On these occasions (unfortunately) I think it would be perfectly reasonable for them to refuse a claim unless it was the same ie the more expensive double/twin standard.

    I do not agree. I am having this argument with Easyjethotels regarding my booking in July to Paris (see earlier post). DIYTravell had quoted two different prices at the time I booked with Easyjethotels i.e.

    Double/Twin Superior £490.40
    Double/Twin (Superior) £654

    Easyjethotels want to base the price difference on the dearest quote. I have contacted DIYTravel who state (I have an Email) that the rooms are identical. The reason for the two rates is different suppliers. Their computer showed both suppliers rates, which has now been amended and they have changed their terms and conditions to explain why this may occur.

    My argument is that I could have booked an identical room at the time of booking for £490.40, and paid £907.

    I will let you know the outcome but I cannot see how they cannot accept this reasoning and would consider Small Claims Court action if they refuse.

    Please help - I booked a hotel yesterday - sent the e-mail to easyjet and got an e-mail this morning saying that they couldn't refund me any money beacuade I had already claimed on the 22nd January and I am only allowed to claim 1 per month - I thought it was calender month - does anyone kniow the correct answer.

    Oh god..., I sent one claim last weekend too, but havent received any email yet. Looks like they are fighting back now :(

    I'm pretty much in the same situation, they emailed back saying "the site was too confusing" - their words, not mine(!) and would not honour the DPG. Replied to that then they said it was a "misprice", it just makes me laugh more than anything else, I can't see them having a leg to stand on, I satisfied every point in their T&C's.

    Will let you know the outcome!

  • JOOLZ, is your hotel still available for booking or not ? Just wanted to check if they sent you an email after they had removed it from the website or you can still bookit in your partner's name?

    The hotel is still available on easy jet - different room type - but can find it cheaper on quick rooms on new room type.

    Problem is though - Huby is not coming - just taking my two children so have to book it in my name.
  • It looks like easyjet is really trying hard to avoid paying now.......now refuse claims which would have been accepted just couple of weeks ago.
