Right.... (long post sorry)
I have details now I'm at home of what I've booked!
It's for next weekend so I'm getting quite jittery!
(I know I'll lose £25 if I cancel by Wednesday, but I thought I'd take the chance.)

I found the 4* MacDonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh on Easyjet hotels for £1146 (blimey!) for 2 persons in a 'standard' Double Room (The Holyrood Hotel only has 'classic' Doubles by the way - and 'Feature' and 'Executive' ones too) with Breakfast for 3 nights from 16 Feb - 19 Feb.

I then found on Superbreak (Yeah I know, I know) the same deal for £450.

So (taking screen shots first) I filled in the price guarantee form on Easyjethotels.

I received a French automated reply last night as is normal.

This afternoon I received an email from Hotelopia support asking for a screen shot as they couldn't find the Superbreak deal available (I have looked this evening and they are right, it isn't now!)

So I have sent off the screen shots.

I also found on Hotelconnect.co.uk a cheaper deal still, (available) at a price of £353 for the same thing.

I have also sent details and a screen shot of that on the email (It's still within the 24 hours).

So, as Hotelopia are asking for screenshots to prove the Superbreak price, can I assume that maybe they might take them as a comparison? Because surely if they didn't, that would have been what they said? (By the way - Superbreak are usually way overpriced and the price that usually shows on Hotelscomparison for 2 people is usual per person when you go to check the price on the Superbreak site - so beware).

Well, I will let you all know the outcome.

Travel Republic Price £330.23
Difference £283.77
Refund due £567.54 (2 x £283.77)
Therefore pay £46.46 (£614.00 - £567.54)

Next problem is that I can't seem to find any cheap flights from Bristol/ London that match the dates. Any ideas?

Using Skyscanner.net, the cheapest low cost airline prices (to/from same airport) for those dates seem to be these
Easyjet 17:15-20:30 London Luton Barcelona
EasyJet 21:30-22:55 Barcelona London Luton
Total each person £57.98 inc taxes.

Times might not suit you though. Gatwick is cheaper on way out but you would come back to different airport and I don't know if you are leaving your car at airport!

Can you fly from Bournmouth ?
Ryanair to Girona
out 24th- 49p + taxes etc
back 28th £5.99 +taxes etc

Luton + Stansted are around £14 rtn + taxes
Bristol on 23rd to 28th (5 days) £60 rtn +taxes
