I've just checked my credit card online and Hotelopia (the company behind EasyJetHotels) have credited me with the full £166 cost of my hotel as they promised they would!

Thanks TBeck and Glenn for the great information, wish I had knows this before I booked my hotel in Barcelona for Feb, now if I want to cancel then I will have to pay 10% charge which I rather not.

Anyway, I'm quite interested to use this loophole to book hotel in Amsterdam later this year, can you guys tell me how exactly do I claim the difference from Easyjet website? I suppose what I need to do is book hotel with Easyjet, then book the exactly same hotel(room and etc) with a much cheaper website, and then send emaiil to Easyjet for the claim? But where can I find this email address for "Claim" and what evidence do I need to send along as proof of my claim? Will a screenshot of the cheaper booking do?

Your help is much appreciated.

Check out budgetflyer's site HERE for details of how to do it. You don't have to actually book the cheaper rate - just find it. I would take a screenshot just in case.

someone created a website called hotelscomparison.com . easyjet is run by hotelopia so you can instantly see where hotelopia is dearer than the rest.
