Hello I have just come across this forum, I currently work at this company Jigsaw we are a fully above board buisness that work on behalf of blue chip companys that are very well known ie AIG sponsers of Man united football club and talk talk The car phone warehouse and other top leading insurance companys, we do our best and have the leading technolgy to try and prevent nuisence calls and would act upon any complaints, and we also work along the guidelines of the tps service and when we recieve data it may be that when the data is sent to us customers have not registered with the tps at that point and by the time we contact a customer the tps is activated so therefore when I make a call to a customer who is on the tps, as a sales advisor if i am informed by the customer that they are now with the tps I cannot continue with the call and it is reported and taken of our system. As a mother of two I find working for this company a joy to work and they are very flexible for working mothers I find it a shame that a few people can not take a few seconds to understand that when I am working I am just trying to earn a living to look after my family and it is no fault of my own how the computer system works and I have many many satisfied customers with my service over the phone and the product. But I do understand that maybe sometimes there is faults in the system and a small hand full of customers maybe repetedly called and it can be very annoying I have had the trouble myself but from indian call centre that are not above board so it give us a bad name.
oh and i must also add that the reason for our call is in to relation to something you have or brought for example new mother s who recieve a bounty pack from the hospital when there child is born also recieve a call from us to let them know that along with there pack they have 2 months free personal accident cover to take advantage of there is no obligation after these 2 months it is just so people can have a read of the legal document whilst being full protected during the two months and decide for themselves if its the protection the need for there family and perhaps compare if they already have one at our cost. if you want any more help I am going to let the MD know when I am next in work about this forum so they can persue the complaints.
BTW My Internet provider is also Opal Telecom a subsidiary of Carphonewarehouse soon to be cut off if this carries on.:mad:0 -

I'm getting these guys calling everyday now and ALWAYS tick boxes to NOT be contacted. I'm signed up to TPS and have been for years. I have no idea where they got my number from but they don't listen to the fact I'm not one bit interested in the 'Identity Fraud' protection they are offering me. I'm not an idiot and won't be getting some COLD CALLING company to protect my identity.
As you can tell I'm absolutely FUMIMG I'm getting these calls and am further surprised the calls come through as unlisted. They must be calling from an IP phone system that means I can't identify it from an international call. These guys are getting clever but I swear I'll blast they're eardrum off next call.. tbc!!0 -
Hows he taking the mickey? Sales people are people too, With bills to pay ect, and they do get alot of abuse. Ive worked in a sales role where we made outbound calls via an automatic dialler.
EDIT: And why blast the eardrum off the sales adviser? Not their fault is it, Its the company making the calls via an automatic system.
I suggest these sales people get a proper job then :mad:0 -
Hi i know its an old post but we've has these people phone about 10 times 2day, we are x-directory and on tps.
If they phone 2morrow will start complaining...I maybe crap with money but im good with cars;)

Apparently it is an idea that first appeared on Dragons Den. I don't have one myself so can't comment on how effective it is but it sounds good as it allows you to screen your calls and it automatically dumps calls from numbers that you blacklist.0 -

i got hammered by them non-stop for a week a few months ago. i'm registered with TPS so i filled out the online complaint form on their site and literally, the annoying calls stopped over night. i might have just been lucky though, but i haven't heard from them since.0 -
