Why is "re-delivery" easier to set up with the post office, compared to other delivery agents?

Companies do listen to this sort of feedback, and one that I use a fair bit told me the other day that they were getting a lot of complaints about Yodel and were considering dropping them. More importantly (for me), they've noted my account so that no future deliveries will be made by Yodel.

Who are they going to use instead?

Unless they have a similar deal with another home delivery agent, or you have agreed to pay a higher delivery charge, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Believe me, it will be an improvement on Yodel. I've used just about every national carrier going, and none of them come remotely near to the awfulness that is Yodel.

I am a regular Amazon shopper, particularly at this time of year. Once again my Amazon tracker says my 2 packages were loaded for delivery at Yodel Chessington at 7.30 this morning. Now 18.50 and no delivery. Last time took 3 days from being loaded. We have a special card at the bottom of our drive with the house number in extra large writing so no excuse for being difficult to find. No one else has any problem at all. When he does decide to come out this way he will leave it outside my front door and not bother to ring the bell or knock. How do I know this - I have seen him do it - he even waved at me from the bottom of the drive when I opened the door.

Maybe Amazon should consider setting up their own delivery company. It would have to be better than Yodel.

Yodel have succeeded in raising inefficiency to the level of an art form. And they treat their people like $#!+.

When I buy anything online, I now ask who they use for delivery. If they say Yodel, I won't do business with them.

I was planning to get something from Amazon. I wiil now go to the next cheapest supplier.

Hermes smashed a well packaged parcel I sent. I put in a claim, sent pictures, etc.

As part of the claim I was offered a cheque to be sent within 14 days or a credit. The credit was £5 more so I took that and it was in my account next day.
