Yodel delivery services - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Problems with Yodel are usually so complex that they need a post the length of a Nordic saga to relate them.
Briefly, I ordered a book from an Amazon third party seller which was both ordered and despatched on Mon 29th Feb.
On Tues 1st March Yodel tracking showed it had arrived at their sort centre at Hatfield. Since then it has apparently shuttled back and forth between Hatfield and Borehamwood paying a total of seven visits to those premises. As of Sat 5th March it appears to have taken up residence at the Borehamwood depot.
At one point, Amazon tracking stated that there had been a problem with the delivery address. Nonsense.
If it eventually turns up, all well and good, but it seems destined to haunt the A1(M) between the two towns for all eternity.0 -

YODEL frequently use the excuse about problems with delivery addresses... it's their regular excuse!0 -
We are sitting waiting for an item to be delivered and on both Saturday and today, the doorbell hasn't rung, no-one has knocked, nor has anyone called my mobile number. Instead there are notes through the door saying "You weren't in" which is 100% untrue, as I am eagerly waiting for this delivery. Yodel have said they will try and deliver again tomorrow, and if this delivery is unsuccessful, the item will be returned to sender.
I cannot fathom how this delivery service is so bad, and needed to get the bile out of my system.0 -
