Had a package delivered by Yodel yesterday, not heard of them before, young lady delivered in her car. Lady opened the front door and called out - shut it quickly, with a slam, when the dog barked. Not the usual careful delivery service - I was in the kitchen 3 - 4 yards away. Had a pad thrust into my hand and asked to sign with my finger as no pen. My thoughts were cheap EU labour hit couriers, lady had poor English pos learned a few sentences for the job.
Came to look for info. and comments on Yodel due to my experience.0 -
Do should lock your front door even when in.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

I've had far too many bad experiences with Yodel that when things have gone right with a delivery I have to take to my bed for several days to recover from the shock!0

Ordered flowers and wine for an anniversary present from M&S and stated a specific date. The delivery hasn't arrived at son's address so when I track the order I am appalled to see the delivery firm is Yodel!! I have had trouble with their deliveries, or should I say non deliveries in the past, the last one was a day late and left 200yards along the road outside someone's house in the pouring rain!
Why oh why does M&S use a fourth rate delivery service, its quite beyond me. If I had known Yodel was the carrier I wouldn't have ordered from M&S and won't be ordering anything from them in future if they are the carrier. I hate to think what the flowers will be like if and when they eventually arrive.:mad:0 -

They're used because they're dirt cheap.0 -

I agree this is the worse UK's delivery company, as they can't delivery anything. I've got only 1 missed-delivery card, despite they claim they were 3 times. And guess what, delivery company which can't redeliver, there is no such option online, they chat is always busy, phones as well. The easiest workaround is to wait few weeks, they deliver this back to the sender, and then ask sender to re-send using different courier!0
