Yodel delivery services - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Yodel are consistently awful in my experience. I order quite a bit from Amazon who insist on using them. I've had parcels left on my doorstep which faces a busy road, chucked over the fence in the peeing rain, and claimed delivery when no one was home. One driver even hit my car when he turned up!!!
Amazon couldn't care less when I've complained to them, they must have some sort of sweet deal with them.
Honestly, no one shows that they don't give a cr*p like Yodel.0 -

Spot on. Inflicting Yodel on your customers proves conclusively that you don't give a s**t about them.
I told Amazon that, and they sounded genuinely hurt. Made no difference, though - it's cheap. Just a matter of time, I think, before more enlightened companies offer a non-Yodel option.0 -
Yodel = clowns
The end.0 -
following on from my earlier post , it turns out that the phone i had ordered from o2 had been stolen , any yet i had a text from yodel that it was on board the van for delivery . presumably thay have a scan for things loaded on to the van ,so what happened there ? did the driver to a runner with it
after trying to contact c/s which took about 5 calls and an hour of wasted time , all yodel could tell me that there was a security issue with the phone . after phoning o2 they managed to sort it out very efficiently and i had my new phone delivered on friday , only for yodel to leave it with a nieghbour .
this is what i received today after sending an email to c/s on the 15th
"Sorry to say that the parcel has been stolen from Cambridge SVC, please contact the sender as we have placed this on to a trace"0 -

I find it incredible that they actually wrote to you and said it was stolen. :eek:The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
I bought an iMac from Currys and had an email providing tracking for yesterday with yodel. I'd never heard of them, but now know they are just rebranded previous nightmare company
I had to go out yesterday afternoon, totally unavoidable as only got tracking email day it was due to deliver. Long story short, no missed delivery card when I got home so went on to tracking to see my computer had been delivered and signed for by myself at a time when no one was in. Also no sign of my computer! Have contacted Currys and Yodel, it's in Currys hands and they are calling me back this afternoon.
How can they say I signed for something I didn't and where is my computer? I have checked with neighbours, nothing but that would not make sense anyway as no card and I apparently signed for it.
Such liars, hardly slept last night worrying about this0 -
What was the signature? Does it say your name or someone elses? Mine was signed HDNL and that was because they handed it over to a contractor to deliver it but marked it delivered to keep the sender happy.0

No it was signed my surname. I have not seen the signature but on the tracking it says signature and beneath it is my surname! Totally a lie.0

Bought 24cans of Irn-Bru, no one was home when Yodel tried to deliver, they proceeded to throw the package over the gate which stands at 8 foot high!
Result = smashed cans, Irn Bru all over the place.
Managed to get a full refund via Amazon.
Conclusion – Yodel = clowns.0 -

It could be a glitch on their system, or been delivered to a neighbour perhaps. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
