The thread is already under discussion on anther forum - and it seems that the OP of that thread was getting confused over which ID to use.
The trouble with this technique of pursuing 'judgementalism' is that seeing AlterEgo ID's here and on the thread about this thread, I begin to think that the OP was possibly another AE ID to bait this whole topic.
I'm afraid you're mistaken: I only have one user ID, this one, and I had never posted on these forums before tonight.
In answer to other questions, I do know the thread starter - and decided to respond as myself and several others are appalled by the vast majority of responses to this thread. I don't, however, have any personal connection to her situation. I just found the responses abhorrent. Apparently, I'm not alone in this, as in fact none of these "alter-ego" ID's are actually alteregos. They're individuals who came to the same conclusions, all by themselves.
It's also very telling of your opinions that you could think that the OP is "bait"? There's nothing controversial about it - it SHOULDN'T have stirred up a hornets nest of judgement.0 -
Then you should have declared your involvement. The other thread does have an explicitly acknowledged AE ID posting in both ID'sI'm afraid you're mistaken: I only have one user ID, this one, and I had never posted on these forums before tonight.

OP, when I was moving, I had a massive clear out, and sold loads of my stuff. I then boxed up the things I was taking, and sent them via Parcel2go. Cost me about £80 as the weight limit was 25kg per box (beware of size restrictions though).
I used the money I made from selling my things to buy replacements in my new place.
You have to weigh up the costs depending on the value ofyour own possessions, but it worked well for me. For example, I had realised that selling my TV and buying another was worthwhile. I got over £40 for it, and managed to get a replacement for only £11!0 -

To be honest.
Save your £10/week for 2 years .... if he's still on the scene you'll have a few bob behind you.
good advice i hope you take it as you need to care for yourself and your child. you can bend over backwards for him and then it might not work out and your stuck in limbo at least at the moment you have a hs flat and some security. good luck0 -
The judgemental losers on here will call anyone a troll who is on benefits and asks for advice or anyone that tries to defend an innocent person asking for help. Read through my earliest posts and see exactly what i mean. OP, don't give up on this site cos it makes you appreciate your own real mates more when you see the sort of ****s that you could have to deal with on a daily basis :-D
There are some nice people on here so stick around and you will get help. Pm's are the way to go i think.0 -
Good luck with the move anyway. Thread clearly gone off course.....0

P.S. PasturesNew, what do you mean Merseyside of all places? There are some gorgeous parts of Merseyside! But, as usual, the place gets the p!ss taken out of it.
3 of my grandparents and both of my parents were born in or around Merseyside. They all left (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
So I'm paying out £160 per month for bills, which is about £40 per week, consisting of the current month's bill and arrears. That's not negotiable, as long as I have enough money for the bare minimum to live on, and I do, then it's what I have to pay.
When do you finish paying that off? Then you'd be able to save the extra to help with moving costs and establishing yourself, perhaps?
Signing up to as many of the swapping sites as possible does sound like a good idea....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
