nope I'm pretty sure I don't smell, I'm not filthy and disgusting either and I'm not killing myself or damaging the health of people around me.

Oh and just so you know my grandad died from emphysema complications less than a year ago - a problem he would not have had if he hadn't smoked so much when younger -which just brings home what a disgusting habit it truely is. My attitude doesn't stink everyone who smokes does.

Haven't read the whole thread but wanted to reply to the OP

I know exactly how you feel, We live in a flat with double doors in our living room/ kitchen, The only form of fresh air in both rooms and our downstairs neighbours smoke right below it, It is disgusting and it infuriates me we have to have our doors shut so often because of thier filthy habit. They must be aware it affects us as we close our door at each cigarette, they could walk about 5 feet over in the garden so it wouldn't affect us so much but i guess that would be far too much effort.

I'm not filthy and disgusting, but if you think that, the fine, you don't know me and never will so I couldn't give a toss.

As for smelling of smoke, I went for some beauty treatments (waxing and massage) last year and the girl doing it had a form to fill in. She went through the form and said to me "and you don't smoke do you" and crossed the 'No' box. She couldn't believe it when I told her I did as she said she can normally smell it on people yet couldn't smell a thing on me. She'd already met me beforehand in my house too and didn't have a clue any of us smoked.

You have my sympathy I have to put up with the smell of smoke and weed from my neighbour and it's truely disgusting.

However IMO OP showed with their comment about not sharing bed not being normal that perhaps with attitude like this talking to neighbours would not help..with this attitude I would slap the door in their face!
