You're kidding aren't you? I haven't had such a laugh for a long time. I've nearly split me britches. I can't wait for the minister to come round for a fag so I can tell him0 -
windchimes. Very good and harmless idea. Many people cannot stand the tinkle and will stay away from the sound
Some of them don't just "tinkle" ..... they can be 5 or 6 feet long - whacking great bamboo or metal things. So they either sound like someone banging repetitively on a drum or throwing your cutlery drawer against a wall!!
Someone about 5 houses away from me has some monster chimes and even I can hear them on a windy day. Must be awful for his immediate neighbour.0 -

I certainly dont get what wind chimes have to do with passive smoking. Or why they were brought up ?!?!?!?!?0 -

It's wonderful as a study in how we've "never had it so good" when all people have to do with their lives is moan about the most petty issues.0 -

As a deterrent to people smoking near your property, the noise apparantly drives smokers mad. It's a kind of allergy which smokers have, they can't stand windchimes. They go into a kind of St Vitus dance when they hear them. Drives 'em potty, honestly. You stand near windchimes sometime and watch.0
