Also what is the correct cashback address

is it Chequeback Offers, P.O. Box 4259, Wednesbury, WS10 7JN

    In a word NO!!!

Its shocking, they never have got signatures for recorded and never will to this address!!

I have complained many many times and at one point collected over 100 recorded numbers that had never been signed for but I always get blagged!!!

If you complain to the postal regulator, they just say that recorded delivery is not guaranteed and that you should use special delivery!!! Hang on a second, am I not paying 60p extra for the postman to get a signature. Its a joke. "Signed for" mail that doesn't get signed for....... wonder if Trading Standards would do anything about this?!?! Probably not!!

Cheque dated 18/12/06 received this morning for £81. So that means I did send the correct 4th bill in and e2save were wrong!!!!.

Still waiting for the 1st month automatic cashback of £51 though and no written response to my letter asking them to confirm what moth they think I'm supposed to be sending in.

They're still a bunch of jokers. No apology or anything.

  • Although I've already posted off a letter requesting confirmation of the bills required in view of the contradictory information posted on their website, are there any email addresses / fax numbers for complaints etc.

For e2save I always found that recorded was never signed for but special was. However, my letter of complaint went recorded and has been signed for. It went to the 3R house address.

Recorded is rarely signed for. I used to manage a big building with about 50 small companies inside (tenants).

Post would come early every day, before staff started, so postie would leave the post bag outside and leave all the signed for stuff in it. Useless organisation and useless system. Sometimes he's sign for them himself and still leave outside the front door.

Special Delivery is ALWAYS signed for as the compensation is much more aggressive and so Royal Mail insist on it being signed for. Recorded is a big no-no for anything. Pay the extra for anything of value/worth.

  • Just thought i'd add my pennies worth into this debate- in terms of the address to which to send claims I sent it to the Wednesbury address although Royal mail's website shows they were deleivered to Dunstable .

I know my geography is a bit off but Wednesbury and Dunstable don't sound like the same place to me!

What got me was the last couple of claims i sent first class recorded delivery took 7 days to arrive there- its beyond a joke and track and trace shows no signature.
