Having had great 'fun' with my CoolNewMobile cashbacks I thought I'd broaden my horizons with E2save and the current situation is as follows,
I purchased my phone from them in April 2007 with it being delivered on 27th April 2007. Therefore according their ‘Cheque Back’ Calendar which came with the phone I should submit my first claim in September.
My account on their website also states I should submit my first claim (month 6) in September.
However the 'welcome' email from them dated 26th April 2007 states ‘please send your 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th monthly bills’ and my September bill is only the 5th monthly bill. This is repeated on their website when I click for more details about my cashback in my account.
I rang the cashback helpline last week where I was assured (by ‘Paul’) that my cashback claim was to be submitted in October and that he had put a note on my file to that effect.
However to be safe I am still going to submit in September with the above explanation of the confusion and ask for their written confirmation if their website is incorrect and that I should submit in October.
I think the issue may be when your account starts rather than when your phone is purchased. In my case the former is 4th May with the first bill on 12th May and on that basis their calculator shows October.
I would also note that there are a number of different addresses for cashbacks on their website but I am submitting this to the one that came with the phone (Dunstable).
PS They have also rejected my Quidco cashback!!!0 -
Dunstable is no more - look on the forums on the e2save website and you'll see they say to send to Crewe. I printed this out and included with my claim.
Basically Dunstable address is diverted to Crewe and adds an extra 'point of failure' in the process that is outside of their reponsibility - namely Royal Mail redirection. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

Hi,
Lot of people said, they emailed / sent letter to CEO of CPW and they got their cheques. Can someone tell me what is the mail address or postal address. I tried to search on cpw.com but I couldn't find it.
I am another victim of E2save who is not honoring their checkbacks.

I received a letter from e2Save in January apologising for the contradictory claim information stating that as my handset was purchased in November and this counted as my 1st billable month, I should submit my April, June, August and October bills. Additionally a Paula Fletcher eMailed me to also confirm that I should submit my April, June, August and October 2007 invoices.
Although April, June and August were processed, today I received a "claim submitted too early" rejection letter for my final October claim!
Has anyone not been conned by this company?0 -
It might be VERY useful to have a copy of that confirmation letter. Not sure if other people could use it but this is a new problem they are creating since they re-(DIS)organised. They are doing things differently and trying to force people to claim a month later where they didn't get a bill in month one. Some of us are refusing and suing instead so evidence such as THAT might be helpful in addition to what we already have! I refer you to this page:-

Meanwhile, you must decide whether to send a month later or sue. One is easier, the other should be a foregone conclusion with that letter among other things!0 -
See today's post by e2Save's debbieg at http://www.e2save.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4087
"I have spoken to the cashback team and they have advised that any connections made before August 2007, will still need to claim with the bill counted from the month of purchase. If you have received contradictory information regarding this, then please contact our Cashback team who will rectify this for you".0 -
Nice little earner on an 0871 number waiting forever in a queue only to be told something different again. It's simple folks; send in the claims you contracted to and sue if they don't pay. Ignore whatever else they say at any given time because it's absolutely meaningless nowadays.0

i think you should send LBA and then sue them as you seem to have evidence in form of emails and letter from them telling you different things and it can be a strong case in my opinion.civicwalker wrote: »I received a letter from e2Save in January apologising for the contradictory claim information stating that as my handset was purchased in November and this counted as my 1st billable month, I should submit my April, June, August and October bills.
