What is everyone seeing when the put the reference number for the special delivery slip into Royal Mail's website? Both of mine say delivered but no ePOD is available.
I've phoned Royal Mail and they said sometimes when one address has lots of letters they might not get a signature as there would be too many to sign for. For £4.10 I expect Royal Mail to get a signature for me, after all it doesn't prove delivery without a name of the person signing. I've been told to send in a P58 along with the slips and they'll consider refunding the cost for special delivery.
Might be worth other people trying this.0 -

Make sure you send off the slips via special delivery again otherwise they may never get to the Post office!Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -

I used to deliver to firms that would get a sack full of letters every day but the SD items were always kept separate & had to be signed for. Generally the receptionist would sign for them.
Each SD has a barcode sticker that has to be removed & stuck to the SD delivery sheet…so if you were delivering 6 to the same place there would be 6 barcode stickers that the person signing for the delivery would sign next to.
If there is no signature recorded for your item I would insist that they refund your money regardless if the item got there or not…the whole point of SD is the fact that it is handled separately from the ordinary mail & a signature (proof of delivery) is obtained.

liars i say:mad:
Did you lose your cashback because of that?
For £10 you could put in a data protection request. If it were me I'd consider threatening to go to small claims. The evidence is on your side.0 -
soolin wrote:I think I am going to have the same problem. Got my new phone on 7th November 2006 and the letter with it says I need to send in bill 4, 8 and 12, yet the cashback vouchers say months 6, 8 10 and 12. I phoned up and was told to log in as my personal cheque back tarrif was contained in my order reference, that says send in bills dated Feb, June and October plus I'll get an automatic cheque back in December 2006.
It sounds like it's resolved now but for the record, the problem is that they've changed the link to the cashback vouchers. Even if I log into my account, or use the link included in my order email, it now goes to a different set of cashback vouchers (the ones you are talking about - 6,8,10 and 12).
I still had the original attachment on my computer with the timeline showing 4, 8 and 12. If anyone wants this let me know.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is doing my head in. I'm about to send in my first claim and the address on the back of my vouchers is:
Checkback Offers, PO Box 4259, Wednesbury, WS10 7JN
but some people are now saying it should be:
Checkback Offers, PO Box 4259, Wednesbury, WS10 7WZ
Why all the different addresses? Should I just send it in to the 7JN one as that's whats stated on the voucher.
Thanks0 -
