    I've been Money Tipped!
Well, I am in my 2nd conso week now and weighed in at 8st 7oz this morning, I was 9st 5lbs at the start of this on the 18th July.

We have a boxful of crisps, 18 chunky kit kats, roasted peanuts etc in the house, all within easy reach and I haven't had any desire whatsoever to eat any of the them!

Before the start I would eat at least two lots of chocolate a day.

Wearing size 10 t-shirts now, was wearing size 12/14 a few weeks ago.

    ;)

    That's fab!

Well done - is your protein day working well for you too?

I really can't believe how easy this diet worked for me, I had been trying for ages to lose that last 10 pounds and could never quite manage, still hitting the gym mind you as the belly still needs a bit of work if you know what I mean :rotfl:

Looking forward to hearing how the rest of your consolidation goes x

Thanks for an interesting thread. I was wondering about this diet as I am back on my own version of Atkins!- having added a bit more fruit. It's the only diet that works for me even though well meaning friends who have only had a weight problem in the last few years keep on and on about Atkins not being balanced!!

That was a diversion. Have found the bread, the galletes and the muffin recipes- wonderful. Atkins doesn't have enough bulk for me so I end up with Fybogel but oats are really healthy. I have bought my oat bran and wheat bran and am going to give them a whirl. Cooked a savoury gallette this morning- it needs a tad of sweetener but I won't put in chopped mint again as it completely swamped the other herbs.

thank you everyone, onward and upward....or onward and lighter (and thinner)

Isn't the protein day when you are in the stabilisation phase? I will have to have another read and double check.

    ;)

Good luck with the belly, still working on mine even though I am getting into size 10!

Well after the galettes tried the toffee muffins!
Bought 12 silicone muffin(cake) cases in Wilkinson's for £2.20. The mixture made 10, and 10 just fit, slightly squashed in my Remoska cooker!
They are brilliant- definitely keep the munchies at bay!! Today no toffee ML left so,made them with all plain yoghurt, less sweetener and cinnamon & ginger.

I even walked past the ice cream display in the supermarket (but would have loved just one!!)

Hope you are all thinner by the day! We can hope..................

Here you are Paul, one for the Toffee and one for savoury and sweet.

    http://www.minimins.com/dukan-recipes/230164-dukan-muffins-savoury-but-can-sweet.html

Don't expect them to be like proper cakes though as they have no flour in them, but they do make a good sweet, especially if you make some flavoured yoghurt to pour over them.
