The only place I could get Wheat Bran was at Holland and Barrett, 89p a bag and it will last you ages.

Here you are Paul, one for the Toffee and one for savoury and sweet.

Don't expect them to be like proper cakes though as they have no flour in them, but they do make a good sweet, especially if you make some flavoured yoghurt to pour over them.
Ok , I have been playing with the recipe and they are a real stomach filler but on a whim today I microwaved a couple of muffins and then poured over some Muller light cheesecake yoghurt and it was , how shall I put it .....YUMMMMMMMMmmmmm.

Paul
I had one cold with muller lite vanilla poured over the top, absolutely bloomin' lovely.
When I made my 2nd batch, I whisked the egg whites until stiff and then mixed them with the rest of the mixture.
My first batch I had to pour the mixture into the muffin moulds it was so runny, this batch I had to lift out with a spatula and drop into the muffin cases.
End result, 12 instead of 9 and they were huge!
They still dropped after they had been out of the oven though.
What about this, I had 4 in one day as well as steak mince and other stuff, didn't stop eating all day and lost 1½lb and I am in conso.0 -
I bought Oat Bran last week in Morrisons - they had plenty.
I plan to start Dukan next week - or as soon as I have time to read my beautiful new book.
I've had a quick read through this thread and it's good to read that some people are doing OK on it.0 -

Things I like about it: I like being required to weigh daily and submit my daily report. Other weight-loss systems have always said don't weigh daily, weigh only weekly. I prefer weighing daily, first thing in the morning after going to the loo and before eating or drinking anything.
DH can see the logic to it, and although he can't do it himself - he's an insulin-user - he has cut down a lot on the carbs and so he's losing weight too.
However, I'm not sure I could do it just by reading the book. It's a tremendous motivator having to submit a daily report. Bit like going to confession used to be! It helps keep me on the straight-and-narrow and I need that discipline.
Well done. I wish I could be that weight. I started my diet ( book only) in January at over 18 stones. I am now at 14st 8lb ( I haven't been at that weight for 22 years ..when I got married) . I am a bit stalled at the moment but looking to lose another stone. I will get there :j .

Hello Dukaneers!
I've just had a quick read through of the thread and so many people are getting great results!
I started Dukan in May this year and so far I've lost 4 stone :j I LOVE the diet, and for me it's been the easiest one to stick to because I'm a bit of a carnivor!
the only thing I've not been very good at is testing the different recipies - I eat the same things most days! although someone mentioned making burgers and dry frying them! yummy - I'll have to try that one!0 -

I have been buying the steak mince from Tesco, making it into 4oz burgers, just by flattening them in my hand then flatten further when in the pan, dry frying them and having as snacks.
I know it sound daft saying steak burgers as snacks but they do fill you up and will help to shift the pounds off you.
I think the large packs of mince contain 700g so I get 7 burgers per pack, cook and keep them in a zip lock bag in the fridge.
I eat them cold as there is no fat on the outside when cold like cheaper mince.
Well done to everyone trying this diet, I can't believe how easy it is to lose weight on this one.0 -

Massive carnivore here also. Get the extra lean mince from supermarket ( not just lean) and add herbs and spices to taste , quick and yummy.
Also some Tesco seem to stock lean (4%) beef strips which are a good start for any carnivore.
Well done with your loss.

OMG That is amazing! I don't know anybody (in "real life") who has done this diet so it's good to know you're around. I have a friend who did the India & Nerys "Pink diet" which I believe is similar and she lost 1.5 stones in preparation for a family wedding.0 -
I have some questions which I hope you can help me with......
I'm very tempted to try this diet, but I'm allergic to dairy and artificial sweetener. Will I get by without these or are they an integral part? Also, how do you find exercising on such a no/low carb plan? I go to the gym 3 times a week, more for stress management andmy state of mind than what it does (or doesn't do!) for my body.
Thanks in advance0
