Hi, it's been a wee while since I made one but I used 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of oatbran and 2 of yoghurt - vanilla for savoury or strawberry for sweet. Mixed it up and popped into the frying pan on at medium heat. I used the spray oil and it stayed together really well, hope this helps.
(This made 3 gallettes.)

Thanksa nonnie - I will also have a bash at Dukan bread later. Pretty much the same but in the oven."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0

The 2T oatbran 'bread' - I put the mixture in a sandwich tin and baked. When it was cool it came out like a flatbread which I sliced in two, spread with quark and chicken and sliced again giving me two 'quarter' shaped sandwiches which were very filling.
Will try a gallette again tomorrow."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -

I have just decided to start this diet from Monday afetr reading the book for a few days.
I immediately started to worry about getting the right oat bran and an internet seacrh brought up some expensive ones! Then I looked at the supermarkets and found Tesco's own but ended up buying an 800g packet of Mornflake oat bran I found while in Sainsburys for £1.94.
When I put a message on the Dukan diet facebook page, someone replied that this brand was perfectly ok for the diet so at least i know where to get mine from!
I just wanted to add that if you want to ask questions the facebook page is a really good place to start from what I can tell!
Wish me luck :j
If necessary, I'd say you could get away with eating porridge oats instead of oat bran as nutritionally they are fairly similar. Calories wise there's hardly a difference between them. Bran probably has slightly more protein per gram but porridge oats are generally slightly lower in saturated fat. The most significant difference is probably the price (porridge oats being generally much cheaper).Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
Just to alert you to the fact that Holland & Barrett has buy one get the second half price on everything, I think this offer started at the end of last week.
This greatly reduces the price of oat bran- one bag is £1.45- so two for £2.17 (fine or medium)Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Been on Dukan Diet for a month and never worked for me. Maybe my lifestyle isn't suited to be changed through DUkan. Still I heard postive feedbacks on how many started to indorse this kind of diet0

Hi all, just reading up on this and waiting for the book to arrive. You have all done so well
Stupid question but did not see it anywhere, do you eat salad (lettuce/tomato/onion/sweetcorn etc) with your meats or what side do you normally have?0 -
Check the book when you get it but basically no sides to start and then very limited choice after that.
Good luck.0
