I'm really looking forward to getting started on the diet and changing the way I view food. I'm having my last meal tonight a roast dinner and know im going to struggle but luckily for me my attack period is only 2 days, although I may increase this to 3 days depending on how I get on.0

Waitrose sell oatbran, as do Tescos, in the porridge section usually. You can order in bulk from Amazon as well. Mydukandiet.com has plenty of free info plus pictures of their recipes.0

you can still have a roast dinner on pv days - roast meat with allowable veg! good luck!0 -
After several months of cooking this and many broken up pancakes, I have found cooking it on a low heat for longer holds it together better than cooking on a high heat. Since I have cooked it more slowly it hasn't fallen apart.
Thanks again, this is definitely the way to go.
Empty the mixture into a cold frying pan and cook it as the pan heats up.
No more broken pancakes now.0 -

I completely agree that this forum is great, lots of info on the diet and also there's folks there that have done brilliantly on the diet which is a fab motivator0 -
Hahahahahaha!
I thought I would treat myself to a new and more accurate pair of scales after 3 days in attack as my old mechanical ones were a bit unreliable.
My new WW electronic ones from Argos are certainly consistent and appear to be accurate over repeated attempts, however my current weight is nearly half a stone more than I thought it was!
On the plus side I have lost 2 pounds since yesterday.....0 -
Just started this today using info available from Minimins
I'm waiting for the book to arrive from Amazon but in the meantime, I may as well get going as there is enough initial info available on line
Breakfast was oatbran porridge - rather like an unsweet semolina. I did soak it in milk overnight in the fridge and then cooked it this morning. It was a bit of a struggle to get down but it certainly is "belly fill"
Lunch is smoked mackarel and hard boiled egg
I haven't got a clue about dinner tonight!

Do you add the yoghurt when the porridge is hot or do you add it before cooking?

Thanks
I couldn't find the fat free yoghurt in T3sco yesterday - they had strawberry fat free but I understand that is not on.
I had sugar substitute (??canestan) in my oatbran this morning - it tasted somewhat better
