I ordered my statements in September last year, they haven't arrived and now Abbey are saying they'll have to resubmit the order (so it'll be another 6 - 8 weeks before they arrive).
There's a page on the BBC website helping with this topic, I've just submitted an "estimated" claim to Abbey - I took the monthly average from the statements I had, multiplied it by 72 (6 years) and put in a claim for that stating that if they disagree with the claim they should send me correct details of all the relevant charges over the last 6 years within 7 days otherwise I'm taking it to court.
Here's the link:

Hi,
I'm hoping someone will be able to advise me re what I should do next in my bid to get Lloyds TSB to give me my bank charge details...
I wrote in December requesting 6 yrs worth of charge details.....I gave them 40 days and when that expired I sent the follow-up letter recommended via this board. (Thanks Rex_Mundi).
I sent the first letter (40 days) by ordinary post (I didn't expect them to ignore a simple request for charge info) and heard absolutely nothing - not even an acknowledgement. The second I sent by Recorded Delivery over a week ago and again NOTHING!
In that letter I threatened to report them for failing to comply with providing the info I'm entitled to....how do I do this????
Also, I have used the address for Lloyds provided on the templated links (the Penny Berryman one) - is that correct?
Finally, should I be ringing them to chase and if so, who do I ring? My branch are hopeless and I don't want to speak to the call centre in some far flung country as I'm sure they won't be able to help me.
Please help....I'm feeling really demoralised that I can't even get to first base.
Thanks,

I wrote to the Royal Bank of Scotland on 29/11/06 using Martin's template asking the amount of the last 6 years charges on my account. Still no reply and the bank have taken off my £10.00 cheque on 18/12/06......has anyone any advice? please help, ta.0

I posted the initial template to the bank re charges for the last 6 years on 29/11/06, they cashed the cheque on 18/12/06, does this mean the bank have 40 working days from 29/11 and then another 40 working days from 18/12? Sorry, I'm a bit confused?0

No they have 40 days from you sending the cheque/letter. See the previous posts for a letter to send and if you have a complaint to make, look at this website.
