The story: Sent letters as per Consumer Action Group, filed claim with MoneyClaim - received notice of intent to defend, and Court Allocation Questionaire - paid additional Court Allocation fee (£100) then received letter from banks solicitors offering to settle out of court for claim and court costs.

Hi
I've waited the 40 days for Halifax to send the statements and guess what -nothing. I've found the template letter to send now but where shall I send this too.
Also has anyone had problems with the Royal mail and the inability to find out if a recorded delivery has been delivered. I tried the website and phoning but no joy.
Many thanks0 -
Hi,
I've waited 42 days so far for my statements from Halifax Bank of Scotland.... I've called several times and have been told that 'due to the increase in people asking for statements' they have been taking longer than normal to send them out.
It's irritating that I have paid for this service and haven't received them. Ive since written to them advising that I will give them a further 10 days to send them or I will be taking matters further!!0 -
I sent my £10 cheque and the request for statements on 14th february. Still no reply from the Halifax, even though they have cashed my cheque!!!
What happens if the 40 days pass and they dont even reply?0 -
I received refunds of £602 from smile last week, but the statements have still not arrived and the list of charges have not either. I requested these on the 19/2 and now they are saying that they treated my statement request as a complaint of charges and they refunded it immediately. I have told them I need these statements and they messaged me back saying again it would take 40 days to prepare. I have told them that if the statements are not here by saturday (40 days) I will complain to the fsa. Surely I am right ?Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230

I also waited 40 days on statements (up on Monday), called telephone banking on Monday night and received 200 pages of statements this morning. Give them a phone 08457 213141. Best of luck0
