e.on Fixonline 8 - question for e.on Company Representative on alternatives?

I called 08450520000 and they put me to billing and he said.. its going to be removed soon but its allowing me to add you to it. I just asked for it.

I would just keep calling and asking for it until someone gives you it.

This is the rate diffence

Old - Fixonline 8
Gas unit rates: 6.214p per kWh 3.00p per kWh above 2680 kWh p.a
Electricity unit rates: 22.37p per kWh 9.53p per kWh above 900 kWh p.a

New - E.ON Price Protection April 2014
Gas unit rates: 7.768p per kWh 3.38p per kWh above 2680 kWh p.a
Electricity unit rates: 26.502p per kWh 12.075p per kWh above 900 kWh p.a

Gas +13% on both tiers
Elec +6% T1 and +18% T2

Versus online 7 cheapest eon variable.

Eon discounts usaully 8% for dual & DDR- if thye apply seems like a good deal for 3 years.

i am far from bloody smug and have been working my !!!! off trying to get them to honour what they have promised many of us, rather than just look out for jack.

Would be if its for 3 years but looks like EON are trying to pull a fast one. As the tariff they have just switched me onto is called Price Protection 2014 but only runs to 2012 and doesnt even say whether its capped or fixed. This seems like a very sick attempted of damage limitation at the customers expense.

Back on the phone to eon for the 4th time today.

I also noticed your fix rates are not the same as me.

I have just called back eon and i was put on hold until the clock stuck 8pm and then I was hung up on.

8 years of loyalty and this is how I am treated

Either eon call back in the morning to tell me they have accidentally messed up the tariff or !!!! will hit the fan.

I cannot believe that Rob called me to say they will definitely honour it and thought I wouldnt notice the Price Protection April 2014 wording now states until may 2012??????????????????????????????????????????

Errrr something amiss- I honestly hope for their reputation I get a call in the morning. Cannot believe they tried to trick me, how low
