    Helena-

Can you tell us why peoples Price Protection 2014 tariff is still showing with the may 2012 info and units????

This has been like this for over a week now and should have been corrected?

    Hi Donpacifico,

You can still manage the account online but the Fix Price 5 tariff is not an online tariff and it doesn't offer any extra discount.

You will still get the normal dual fuel, Direct Debit discounts though.

    Helena :)

    thanks for your reply

so when i move to another eon package, should i give my readings anyway, or will it be requested - ie, if i move to the fix5 on 1st july, will i give my readings then , or just wait until my august quarterly statement, where i am asked to give readings?

Just make sure that you phone thru your readings on 1st July - otherwise past experience suggests that the Utility Company may underestimate your usage on the cheaper tariff(surely not??:rotfl:)

Hard to believe, but that's what happened to me, and I'd even submitted readings but they chose to use estimates instead. To their credit, E.On did sort it out once I'd pointed out to them they'd overcharged me and instead of me owing them about £6, they owed me a few pence. Not a lot compared to my monthly costs, but there was a principle at stake there!:)

I am on Eon Save on line 4 and am wondering whether to move to a fixed contract. I believe I may incur a charge if I leave Eon at present. What are people's views.
