So sorry to to here of another van badly built by Mr Lloyd and Race Passion. Joanne has had her van back to be sorted and guess what ??? NOT DONE and still got problems.
The 12 month warranty is a joke. Now he's a Limited Company if your stupid enough to go and have a van conversion then ...........GOD HELP YOU...............
..............................................HOW MANY MORE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS MR LlOYD ARE YOU GOING TO LET DOWN ?????????

Race Passions latest van conversion on their web site " Bens Race Van from Birmingham " Which is also in an advert on Ebay states that " Race Passion recent Van Conversions are ACCREDITED BY SafeGuard Insurance Company who are part of Swinton Insurance. I think you should look the word up in the Oxford Dictionary and what Accredited means???? As when I contacted SafeGuard last week they told me that all they had offered Mr Lloyd and Race Passion was " Commission if they should sell one of their customers Van Insurance" They offer this to all van converters so are all of them ACCREDITED BY SAFEGUARD INSURANCE COMPANY ??? I was told they would be passing this information to their legal department to take advice and will be contacting Mr Lloyd and Race Passion very soon.

I notice in Bens van conversion the plug in the garage is metal. This is slightly better than the plastic they used before, but if this was fixed in the same invironment in your home it would not be passed or safe. It should be fixed one metre from the floor and the same type as you would fit to the out side of your house to repell wet and damp. Unfortunately as yet there are no regulations in respect to van converting but I understand rules and regulations are comming in 2012.

In my Court Case at the very last second Mr Lloyd asked for an extension of time to put in a defence against my court action. He has had £10500 of my money since November 2010. On three occasions over a three month period promissed to build a van conversion for me and didn't. I look forward to seeing his defence and facing him in court. I wonder how many more of his customers will be there with me ????

A possibility is that MSE removed her post after being contacted by Race Passions.

MSE removed the post because it contained her email address and asked members to contact her. Posting of personal details is against forum rules - even your own...

Race Passion advert stating ACCREDITED by SafeGuard Insurance Company on Ebay has now been removed.

my post 9.30am 4/09/2011 posted above on here. It clearly states there about my court case. From Good Friday until papers were issued to the court my Solicitor and I tried to get a settlement. Mr Lloyd ignored the letters and until 2 weeks ago when he asked the court for extra time we hadn't heard from him. If he had built the Race Van which he agreed to at the end of January in an email to my wife and kept her upto date with the build as he agreed to in the same email and then as he agreed given us a full refund once the van sold, then all this would never have happened. After 2 months no contact from him and when he did finally contact us because of what he said we were left with no option but to take court action. After contacting people selling Race Passion conversoins on EBay a can of worms was opened and it snow balled from there. This will be in court very soon I hope unless he desides to settle, which he didn't in the last court case which was over the none build and is what my case is about.
