Hi Lost

You are doing well. I couldn't live without my page a day diary. Keeps me sane and I write down everything that I have spent each day.

All the best with the ebay this weekend. I simply cannot get motivated at all. Feeling tired alot so am trying to rest up and pace myself in what I do. When I do this I get more done:):)

I had to laugh when OH went shopping and complained about the cost, I think it is easy just to assume that prices have stayed the same for years. Hopefully he will be happy to help out more.

^ there somewhere I mentioned splitting the bills on a percentage share but I just wanted to say that whatever works for you as a couple is fine. DH and I split the bills equally even when I earnt less than him even though I didn't agree with it. Now my income is the same as him but I have quite a bit of spare income as my debt payments are not as high as his. I have to feel sorry for him at the moment as he is poorly and has been for a year but still goes to work as he needs the money although I did say he could go on the sick and then go bankrupt (although this would impact on my job so would need to sever all financial ties)

Organised, I am only at the starting block, no where near even getting into the starting position. I am trying to stay positive and motivated about it all.

Thank you for your stern words. You are right but i just cant help it. I dont care what I buy or how much it costs as long as its something. I was looking at my handbag this morning and its embarrassingly old with the cheap leather (leather I wish) coming apart. But then Ive had a look and I can save it for a little longer. It did cost me a pound in the first place. :rotfl: I just want to put as much as I can to the debts.

I bet you do, but you dont actually realise as its something you do without realising.

It is funny isnt it, and hopefully you are right and he is happy to help out more. Your advice is very helpful and its lovely to hear your side of things, sorry to hear your OH is poorly and its not right that he is still going to work cause of money. Its so unfair that he has to do that. If he went sick he could look to go on a DMP couldnt he if he doesnt want to go bankrupt. You have done so well with your debts. Hope it all gets sorted out.

Thank you, it doesnt feel like it when I am having a 'down' moment. Do you, thats a really good idea, I am still looking at mine, not sure where to start.

OH insisted we went out this afternoon for a walk round town, yes actually wanted to do something nice with me. Went into pound shop as needed some milk and parcel wrap ready for the bits which have been bidded on, HE PAID, then on way home treated us to a takeaway YES ALSO PAYED FOR A TAKEAWAY. Very nice I need to say, something out of the blue and totally enjoyable. Still doesnt mean I can tell him exactly what I am feeling or going through, I just feel our relationship isnt ready for more of an impact. Getting him to come to grips with how much shopping costs is a start.

So I have lost all motivation for ebaying tonight, I really just want to go and get into bed to be honest, I am so tired. Bu I need to do some ebaying I really do. So thats what I am going to do when I have dragged myself off of here. I have a pile of things to list so am going to crack on in a minute.

I weighed myself whilst I was out today, I thought it may be a good idea to and see how much I way and see if I can get some motivation there as I think my weight doesnt help either. I think I lack a lot of energy because I am carrying lots of weight.

Well off I go to list. Even if its a couple of items, its a couple of more that I am trying to declutter.

As much as I agree with E_E that you should spend it on yourself, I have also been in your position so I know exactly how you feel, hence the reason I suggested £10 and £10.

It is lovely that OH seems to be making more of an effort. Baby steps. You don't have to tell all, just little bits at a time. I know what it is like, you start to trust again then before you know it, it is back to how it was before because you said too much. You know what is best for you.

Well yesterday was spent trying to sort the leak out under the kitchen sink :eek: Hopefully it is sorted now. We have a rented house but it seems such a small thing to ring them about.
Although the phrase 'fur coat and no knickers' does sum this house up :mad:

Today I will be mainly clearing out all the animals so I reckon that is most of today taken up, then I will be cooking a roast turkey dinner (one of ours we killed at Xmas)

Listed 27 items yesterday and still more to go but I am getting near my monthly allowance of 100. I have a few things selling which i am happy about.

I am feeling really down today, I am about to go on to my second cuppa of the day with the hope of motivation. I will get there, I just feel so down. I hate feeling like this. I really do why do I keep feeling like this.

OH has been a lot better towards me and seems to be continuing helping. Lets see how long this lasts. I am still leaving the guard up I really am.

Its pay day this week, and the quicker it goes in the quicker it goes out. :rotfl: thats just life!

Anyway I have been on the daily DFW list and done myself a list. Everyone on here is helping me achieve. Helping me move forward! Onwards and Upwards xx

Hi Gap, how are you? Hows little miss? The whole money from OH, he needed to borrow £10 from me, so the money I saved which I didnt spend he borrowed back from me, hoping he will be lovely and give it back to me that way I can put it on debts.

Thank you for your support and I am def taking baby steps towards a happy future.

Its not good that your house seems to be summed up with that phrase, even though you fixed it you need to tell the landlord and keep a record of any problems and anything fixed especially if you spend money.


Did you have a productive weekend? yummy turkey roast.

It was a lovely day. I hope he is but I am still not keeping my hopes up that it will last. But its a start.
