Have been productive with cleaning, just trying to take my mind off of things as well as making the house a home. I have sold a couple of things on ebay but need to parcel them up, pay fees and then I will work out the total.
I feel mentally unable today, I would love to be able to crack on but I feel like I could just go have a nap. Not good, the sun is shining, should be making the most of today.
I think I may go wash away the negative thoughts in a cool shower.:j DMP started on 1st Oct 11 - 6 yrs 0 mths till DFD :jMay 2018 Debt free date - Mission to clear before!Depression is a challenge, Debt is a challenge and I have been given these challenges to be a stronger person. Hello
You are lucky in that you are getting some sunshine. It is pouring with rain in Edinburgh and I have to go out later with a dress on
Would you be able to go out at all? Maybe take DD to the park or something. Doesn't matter if you can't do anything else in the house or anything money related but if you can get some vitamin D from the sun that would be good for you. Do you have a garden? You could even go out there. Just get some rays.
I'm off to get the dress sorted. Don't think it is worth putting fake tan on, I will just end up looking like an orange water colour! :rotfl:

Hi Lost and nervous, hope you are ok this morning.
Hopefully your Avon number will come through quickly and you'll be away. Hope it goes really well for you, I'm sure you'll do just fine. Avon is a really well known name and their stuff is well priced, Mags30 is right. No-one will mind what day you deliver as long as you let them know. I wish we had an Avon rep here as no-one seems to do more than 2 campaigns and then they vanish, never to be seen again!
As for the dippy tart that stabbed you in the back - who cares? She's not important and neither are her opinions. If she's not able to say the words to your face the hold no weight. She critisized the way you are doing things - I'll bet a tenner that she is a long way from being perfect herself!
You have quite a following now, all these people are / have been in similar situations and are in different places on the journey to debt-free-ness. I'm following beacause- You sound like a nice person
- Your story interests me & I can empathise
- I am interested in seeing your progress
- You become an 'MSE Friend' and I care about my friends.
So don't worry too much about people who talk behind your back. They're not worth the head space about and frankly I've yet to find anyone that perfect that they're qualified to talk about & critisize others
Hope you have a 'good' day today

I am so angry but I have learnt a valuable lesson - dont give to receive. Something I have always known but its been reiterated this weekend. I am not close to any of the family but its the done thing to buy buy buy. I have had many conversations where family are slagging each other off as they dont spend much or get big presents or put thought into it. But little effort was put into our daughters easter gift and they spent nothing on her and whats wound me up is that they have a cheek to slag everyone else but its ok for them to do it.
Its just a vicious circle we live in, but I am not getting caught up in it anymore, I want to be happy, I would much prefer for DD to have a close family and friends spending quality time together not buying her. But why is it ok for them to moan about others then what they expect others to buy and spend on them and their children but they dont do it on others.
They even complained about my smart priced burgers. So angry.
But anyway thats the weekend over and done with and a new start is here.:j DMP started on 1st Oct 11 - 6 yrs 0 mths till DFD :jMay 2018 Debt free date - Mission to clear before!Depression is a challenge, Debt is a challenge and I have been given these challenges to be a stronger person. Hi Diz,
Thank you for your really kind words, and I am so touched by everything you said. Its so lovely to know I have 'MSE friends'. After the weekend I have had I now realise so much and feel so liberated you could say.
Its so lovely to know you care about your friends, I do long for a caring friend who I can be honest with, everyone is so genuine on here. Its wonderful.
We are always going to be surrounded by these nasty people.

I have just thought, I have been really really negative the last few days and actually I havent achieved anything. Its just hit me that I havent been proactive, Ive let things get to me and Ive not done anything.
Light bulb moment - BE POSITIVE!
I am ashamed that I have been so negative. Sometimes I think I need to go back on my antidepressants but what does one do? I need some serotonin but how can I get it without spending money on one of those lamps or without antidepressants?:j DMP started on 1st Oct 11 - 6 yrs 0 mths till DFD :jMay 2018 Debt free date - Mission to clear before!Depression is a challenge, Debt is a challenge and I have been given these challenges to be a stronger person. The dress was fine. The sun came out right at the end of the day and by the end of the night I was too drunk to notice the cold
I think vitamin D helps. I get SAD in the winter but in the summer I am so much happier just getting more daylight. My Doc says it is good for me to get sunshine
Good that you have had your lightbulb moment for being positive :T I think that helps too. Sometimes I have to force myself to think positive but it is better.
Families can be a nightmare sometimes. I am close to my parents and my sister (and of course Little Miss Gap) but extended family out of that circle are not so good
My reasons for following you (hope that doesn't sound too stalker-like) are fairly similar to Diz's. I have been around the forums for almost 3 years but I only started my diary recently. I noticed you haven't had your diary long either and I kind of latched on to you  but you do sound like a nice person and I want to see your progress. I can relate to things you say too.
Ok, babbling again!

Thats really good to hear that the dress was fine, sounds like you had a wonderful time!
Is it hard to force yourself to be positive? I need to learn to force myself to do many things. Thats so good that your dr has perscribed sitting in the sunshine! Good excuse! :j
How old is little miss gap? Families are a nightmare! Its good your close to your parents and sister. Thats really good!
Thank you so much for your kind words, its so lovely that you are all here with me along my journey. It doesnt sound stalker like. I like it that I now have people to talk to, MSE friends! I will keep an eye open for your diary!
Its nice to know you can relate to the things I say, good to know I am not talking rubbish. :rotfl: xx:j DMP started on 1st Oct 11 - 6 yrs 0 mths till DFD :jMay 2018 Debt free date - Mission to clear before!Depression is a challenge, Debt is a challenge and I have been given these challenges to be a stronger person.
