Sorry, had to run off earlier. Little Miss and Step-Little Miss were warring again  Meant to say, yes, it was 38p for one item. Is that where I went wrong?

Heading off to bed shortly as been a long day. Hope you are feeling more positive by the time you read this :D

    :)

To be honest I am not sure how much i get from 1 item, I tend to list quiet a few at a time. If you list things at 99p then they are free, £1 and higher you have to pay the listing fee, then the paypal fees.I will try to work it out.

    Thank you xx

  • Time to have rethink of me! Clearly clashing with the OH, clearly need to try and have some time apart without being too obvious as that will send him off in a frenzy. I need to loose weight, I need to sort the house out, I need to sort my head out. I know whats important to me and I know what I need to do. Its about remaining positive and not letting the hard times bring me too down to the negative state.

I think i am overcoming the negative time well until 5 mins ago when had a wasted phonecall with OH and being informed he is having half day leave today isn't what I wanted to hear, it really bugs me as he always seems to be at home at the moment, I know most people would love it but I feel I cant get on with things as he wants me to be in the same room, if Im not is under my feet, and then wonders why I dont get things done.

I have to laugh, sorry! Mr Gap is lovely and I know he really loves me but if I decide to take a day off work to get things done he wants to come to mine and have a cuppa and a blether. Bless him, it is because he works nights and I work days so we don't get that much of a chance to be together but if I take time off to get things done I want to get them done!! I love him to bits too and life can be hard when we don't get to see each other as much as we would like to but then he comments when the house is untidy. I can't win

I listed an item at 99p for a couple of weeks. Eventually it sold... for 99p. I also asked for something like £2.40 p&p (1st class recorded). By the time ebay took their percentage of the 99p and then paypal took their fee off the whole £3.39, then Royal Mail wanted £2.60 instead of £2.40 (I misread it, aparently) I was left with about 38p or thereabouts! :rotfl: I'm just a bit blonde sometimes!

I understand about sorting the house out and sorting your head out. That is where I am at at the moment! I have a temporary notebook. It is a bit too big to carry around so it is at home but I am getting back in the swing of using it. I got a couple of things done in the house last night (squeezed in before Mr Gap arrived!) and Little Miss offered to vaccum the livingroom for me (for a price though!!) so I felt a bit better when those things were done.:)

Hope you have a good day and OH doesn't do your head in too much :D

    Take care.

I dont think women can win! I have come to the conclusion we cant win! No matter what we do the OH's will never be happy - male friends on the other hand (havent got any of those now) are great cause were never wrong and they accept us girls.

Your not blonde just persivir with it! its interesting actually, may have to rethink my earnings.

Great news on your notebook, thats good you are getting into it again. I am finding its really helping, I had a rant in it yesterday. Bless little miss Gap. Shes a good girl! getting things done does clear our head hey. I am about to tackle the hallway. xxx

  • Well what a day I have lined up, got up early and made the kitchen look a bit more presentable as hadnt even done last night washing up :wall: done a load of washing, had breakfast with DD, shes just gone back to bed bless, and I have put a little order into Avon, mainly my stationary and brochures but a couple of things which I wont earn on my hey I have even got out there yet!

OH is out tonight so am going to get dinner early and then ebay, knowing my luck DD will play up, I wont get anything done and he will be home early! All in the life of Lost!

Going to tackle a big bag in the hallway and trying to get rid of some rubbish, I have even got to the point where I want to chuck most things away instead of hoarding, I dont want chaos any more! :T

So off for now to get started! xx

Clearing out makes me feel good too. Sometimes I hold on to things for ages (I am a terrible hoarder :o) and then it gets to the stage that I am so sick looking at things I chuck them and then I feel good! I should just cut out the middle man and put things out right away instead of putting them away "just in case" :)

Hope you get a decent evening :D

  • My notebook got good use yesterday, I came to the conclusion that I am clearing rubbish and clutter and putting things away but once house is clean clear and free of clutter then I will begin to reorganise. That bit will be enjoyable and I can do at my own leisure.

Yesterday I cleared out 5 bin bags of rubbish, 2 of those confidential bags of paperwork which I have stuck in a big bin in the garden and put water in to clear the confidential things ready to put out for recycling or start a compost heap! Tips from my new mse friends over in greenfingered! Not going to well at the moment but think I have put far too much in the bin to be able to swirl round and get the water to it!

Didnt achieve anything last night thanks to OH coming home really early. As I got DD settled had a little tidy and about to sit down to ebay he walked in - neediness started! So I have vowed to myself that I am going to treat myself to a bottle of wine this weekend and sit down with a glass or 2 and focus!

Today going to continue to crack on with the clearing and finding homes for things.

Also trying to get on to freecycle, I need to open a yahoo account as cant join on my hotmail account, very strange. But need a few things for the house so am hoping I can check on there first.

Have a great day everyone and thank you. xx

    Happy Friday!

5 bin bags of rubbish :T

Oooh a nice bottle of wine sounds good :D

I was able to join Freecycle on my hotmail account. That's a bit strange that you can't :undecided

Yes, we both need to work on cutting out the middle man. I blame the fact that I work full time for being less organised at home. My desk at work is pristine!

Your posts have been sounding positive the past couple of days ;)

Have a good day, hope it is productive for you :)
