You're welcome :) I did remark on the phone to customer services that I hoped Mr Branson would be shaking them up and improving services with regard to Direct Debit given the multitude of complaints they must receive about shoddy service and errors. The customer service assistant just laughed.

The news is that Trading Standards calls the charges that BT makes to people who do not pay by direct debit unjustified. Follow this link to the full story:

    Hi

Does anyone know whether unarranged borrowing fees are included in the charges you can claim back?

    Thanks!

    Tche
  • Yes, "unarranged borrowing fees" is just another term for the penalty charges for going overdrawn without an agreed overdraft or exceeding your overdraft limit.

You can def' claim them back.

As far as I know, you can claim for o/d excess fee and that's it out of your list.
