please can someone tell me in one short answer if i can claim back my overdraft interest charge. all this is very new to me. i know i can claim ordinary overdraft interst but don't know about the overdraft interest charge and i really want to get going on this. i know you may think i am really thick but help please

Can anyone tell exactly what bank charges I can reclaim. I have received statement showing Overdraft limit charges of £30.00 each, Interest charges, Overdraft protection fees and account fees. Which of these can I claim

Hi All,

Does anyone else think this is an unfair charge and if so, can it be reclaimed? I got my statements from the last six years and saw a number of these '100% interest' charges where I tried to withdraw £10 at the end of the month and then got hit with an instant £10 charge, which then got applied again everyday after that until payday took me back to credit.

I bank with Barclays and have applied for £685 back.

Any thoughts?

Hi There just a quick one i hand delivered my statement request letter to copy statements unit in birmingham on wednesday and recieved them through the post this morning double quick i think.But i am a little confused as to what i can claim i have;
O/D Excess fee
O/D Interest
Unpaid DD
Unpaid S/O

Any help would be much appreciated

I had 2 bank accounts with HSBC. We got into difficulty and exceeded our overdraft. Every time I used the Debit card I was charged 30.00 for card misuse. Can this amount be claimed back too.:A
