I am sitting with all my statements in front of me and the main charges are:
CHG O/DRAFT USAGE FEE
CHG O/DRAFT INTEREST
FEE ACCOUNT CHARGE (for additional benefits)
What can I reclaim?
I just wanted to find out, as I now if I call my bank I will more than likely be given the run around again  (and I have lost my voice today :lipsrseal )
Did anyone else get their statements through in separate envelopes? I swear I couldn't get my front door open yesterday there were 80 letters containing statements!!
TIA

Hi There,
I Have Recently Contacted My Principal Bank Halifax About The Charges. They Said I Can Reclaim Only The Charges From Credit Cards, Not From Unarrabged Overdraft. Is It True?
If Not How Can Make Them Refund Me All The Charges With Interest?
Regards

I'm in the process of claiming my bank charges but am not sure on one thing. With the Alliance Leicester I have a 2k overdraft which during every month is usually used. Because of this the Alliance Leicester charge me £5.00 every month. Is this charge something you can claim back or is this not classed as being under these 'unfair terms' for claiming back your charges?
Simply I guess this charge is not the same as a £35.00 charge for exceeding my OD limit, or is it?
Any help will be greatly received.0 -
If you don't know what a particular charge covers, please phone your bank then check it in the list in post 4 Reclaim Help Thread linked in my signature.0

Done that but I don't find the thread very helpful actually. Why can't you leave people's threads where they were posted rather than moving them to somewhere where I'm going to get a unhelpful response like yours? All you seem to be doing is spinning people around in circles.0 -

You can claim the £350 -
Think I read you can on consumer action group, or have I read that wrong. Also am now about to do the moneyclaim part, and although I didnt put it in the letter can I add it in at this stage?
Thanks0 -
No you can't claim overdraft interest but you can put in a claim for interest on the charges you are claiming when it comes to court.
Please read Martin's article, linked to in my signature for an explaination of this and read the Reclaim Help Thread for more information.0
