  • The Co-Op Bank is sending our small family firm bonkers! We have a Contract with Eire, and are paid in Euros. Co-Op take between 6 - 8 weeks from receipt of the Euro Cheques, deposited in Birmingham City branch, to clear same.
They are quite happy to stamp the paying in book for a receipt of, say, 3,000 Euros. when we finally get notification of the deposit, we can be charged between £8 and £16 PLUS the amount of Euros exchanged may be in the region of, say 2,898.

Tried ringing - love 25 minute waits. Tried writing. don't think the Skelmersdale people have quite grasped the concept of REPLYING.

Anybody had the same treatment? Anybody HelpMe, please
  • If you are asking can these charges be reclaimed the answer is no these can't either for a business or personal account.
  • Can I reclaim charges withdrawn from my account for 'bouncing' a payment on my debit card? Lord knows I've had enough of these over the years.

HI can some one please tell me a certain B/S charges .75p if you go below a £100 pound in your account and use an atm to get the money??
EG. account balance is +£110 and you take out £20 new balance is +£95 they charge you .75p then another .75p each time you take more money out untill the balance goes back over £100. the reason they say is because it is an interest account??
Also can i claim the interest charges being charged on an overdraft that has been agreed?
Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.
  • You can't claim either of these charges. Please have a read of post 4 of the Reclaim Help Thread, link in my signature.
