Hi, just a quick question please.
Looking through my bank statements I have found several notices of "Unauthorised overdraft fee" to be debitedto the account on........ So far so good, I checked on the list and it looks like I CAN claim them back. But then on my actual statement the entries are listed as follows
:
In description: Monthly usage fee. In details: Unauthorised overdraft.
Can I not claim them back, as they described as a monthly usage fee, or can I?
Thank you.

You can claim those ones back, the monthly charge you can't claim is if you have a special account like a Gold/Advantage account.0 -

Also, it appears that the Alliance & Leicester are difficult to claim from as ive read on other posts.

Morning All
Was just wondering if you could claim back the "Interest Debited" from you account. I'm in the process of helping my boyfriend claim his charges back and he's had a lot of interest debited from his account the highest being £35.00. Can they do that can I put a claim in for that too?
Thanks0 -
You can't claim back interest charged for being overdrawn. Have a read of post 4 in this thread for what you can claim.

I know i have seen this somewhere but just wondered if someone can tell me exactly what charges can be reclaimed. Currently have an account which we no longer use but is overdrawn and they continue to charge interest on the account (therefore our monthly payment doesnt actually pay anything off due to the fact the interest charges are more) as well as asking them to hold the interest can we also reclaim the interest charged?0
