Are you connected to your master socket or an extension?
If the latter try connecting to the master socket, or better unscrew the lower faceplate and connect to the test socket and try again. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

You are on a long line so you are never going to get a very fast connection, if fact your router is syncing at its optimum at the moment.
Have a listen to your line with a wired phone and nothing else plugged in. Google for the BT quiet line test and see what you get, if there are crackles and pops get on to BT to fix it.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Thanks for that help, but why did it suddenly go down from over 2 meg,to now less than 1 meg, strange.:(Kawasaki z750 Rider!0

It can take up to 10 days or so to synch at the optimum speed that your line can support. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I have been with them over 3 weeks,I left my router on all the time,as requested by Orange so they could test it,was over 2 meg,now less than 1 meg...............weird:mad:.As they have now re-set the router, does this mean it will need to be re-tested again??Kawasaki z750 Rider!0
