If sellers chase me for feedback (in some cases before they have even sent an item) it tends to make me more likely to delay leaving them feedback.

Isn't it on a par with saying 'thank you' when you buy something from a shop?

If I unpack an item I've bought and am happy with it, I automatically say thank you by leaving feedback.

    Simple good manners IMO

I have never emailed Body Shop online or Amazon to say thank you for delivering stuff I have bought and paid for?

I usually leave feedback for my purchases unless they were low value and Im not happy with the item, I usually cant be bothered with the hassle of trying to sort the problem, but am unwilling to leave a neg or neutral as I havent tried to sort it.

The only other time I dont leave feedback and I apologise to all you sellers, is when I have bought something for my daughter, who as a teenager doesnt approve of ebay, but does check my feedback to see what Ive bought. On these occasions I email to say its arrived but dont confess to the impending feedback loss.

I expect, like the rest of us, you complain if you're not happy, so why not be just as voluble when you've received good service?

It costs nothing to say thank you :)

I'm far too nice and I thought it might be more frustrating for them if they never get any feedback.

Interestingly though their stars are mediocre (so the automatic removal is obviously in their head!) and they do not have TRS.

You are too nice Soolin :)
I would have given them a neutral, I don't like sellers taking the pixx, as I've said before since becoming a seller I've become much more demanding... incidentally I don't buy from the cheapest sellers with dodgy fb, so I expect to get what I pay for, good service, and certainly not bxxshit like this.

I sold some items recently and sent them all Special delivery and despatched in one working day. Also kept the buyers informed and received no feedback. The good news is there is an item I have in my possession that I know these buyers would love to have but I will see they are blocked from bidding.

I make my living on ebay - I therefore sell goods for money and not feedback.

I just don't understand the logic of blocking a bidder who has caused you no problems whatsoever? They may not win the item, but if you know they will bid you are stopping them pushing the price up??
