NOCHEX - a Warning if you don't use it for a while

  • I have reactivated my account this morning. Now all you have to do is send an email to CS with certain characters of you password in the email. Guess what, I gave the wrong characters as I thought it was one password and it turned out to be another. They reactivated it in any case - so much for security. They seem to have gone from one extreme to another.

My account was wiped out of £44.83. Once empty, they do not appear to charge any more. I was heartened by the person who got back his money and am planning to badger them until they do the same. Then I close down my account immediately. Like everyone else, I am disgusted by this whole situation.

For merchants i think its much better if you just go with a proper merchants account, you will receive a better service, nochex/paypal have a thing where they dont tell you whats going on when a dispute is opened, and your treated like a suspect and not a "merchant" maybe its just me ? i never found out why my nochex sellers account was closed for just the normal template email wafflying on about account closure, no pin point reason is given at all,

100£ setup(streamline for abbey banking biz customers) and 10£ a month, to some one like secpay to carry out the online payments, I think secpay will take care of the SSL so you dont have to pay for that, but please check that, if you dont need online system or u just want to do your processing later you'll save the 10£ per month.

of course transaction fees are on top of the above figures

Just popping in to add my name to the 'scammed' list. Not sure how much i've lost as I can't get to their 'form' page as it is no longer there!

    I've been ROBBED!

Looks like my account has been closed as well. Tried to access it yesterday with no luck - 'user email unknown'.

Have raised a ticket with them to try and claim my small balance - we shall see.

Now I have to edit 100s of online listings, as I've always plugged NOCHEX in preference to PayPal

NOCHEX are scumbags if you have any money in your account take it out before they do!! They have been cleaning out accounts for two years now.

I have been emailing them for years to restore the money to my dormant ex-business accounts & still havent got a penny back from them.

Last year, after writing to the CEO and explaining I was one of their oldest customers since 2000, Martin Greenbank's pa rang me to say he would be sorting out my refunds. I liaised with him & he found my accounts. Since acknowledging they have my money, this guy nevers responds to any voicemail and hasnt written back to me for nearly a year.

In hindsight, maybe I should not have informed them of my intention to pursue them in court and charge interest for the money they had simply annexed, as I hadnt accessed the accounts.

Biggest joke is I gained them absolutely hundreds of new customers, when another dodgy outfit 'Frugal Escrow' run by a Dr Greg Smith closed down annexing thousands, held in apparentley "100% safe" escrow.
Greg lloyd Smith & Martin Greenbank, is they're a connection ?

I would keep track of any money in Nochex and remove it promptly if you dont access the accounts regularly, otherwise your money becomes theirs!

What's wrong with a company turning a profit? I'd be more worried if it wasn't! ;)

What has nochex got to do with your missing order? Nochex is simply a method of payment. If you paid a company in cash and an order didn't arrive, would you be emailing the BoE? You need to be contacting the selling merchant if there is an issue with late delivery.

Edit: Oh, it's half term isn't it???
