hi i just thought id let you all know that i found it so easy to get my charges back from the woolwich:D
i called them on the 10th may
recieved a letter a few days later saying that they had recieved my complaint and that it would be resolved by the 7th june
recieved a letter with all my charges on a week later.
and today recieved a offer of £912 75% of what the total of my charges were.
it was that easy!!
1 10min phone call
and they are even refunding charges that they have already refunded!!!!
so im making money out of the bank!!
Can I ask you what number you called, as I`m having trouble getting them to pay up:mad: :mad:0 -

I'm really pleased for you, and as it seems they are keeping to the date on their letter it means I shall hear on friday!!!!!!!0 -
Received my offer letter this morning and it is 33% less than my claim. I queried it with the customer service team but they wouldn't budge. Seems its based on my cistomer history. I pointed out that I have been with them for over 30 years and I know that larger claims than mine have been paid out at 75% but I was told that they do not renegotiate.
I'm going to accept the figure of £1260.00 as it is money I never expected to have and it will clear a debt that needs clearing!
Many thanks to Martin and this forum/thread as it has given me the confidence to put in my claim.

I phoned the Woolwich this morning and was offered £4380!!! total charges without interest was £5,500 but, hey, it's money I never thought I would see again!! Process started on 24th April so was dealt with really quickly, absolutely over the moon.
Good luck everyone with your claims.

Cheers for that...I`ll give them a ring tomorrow.......cant believe that there are so many people on here that are still getting paid out....and they are being so awkward with me:mad: :mad:0 -
An(other) update.
Well, I've finally gotten a court date! There is light at the end of the tunnel.
Unfortunately it is SEPTEMBER 18th!!!! Another three months away.
My only consolation is that the interest charges will have increased a little more and that there will be less debt to repay when I get my money.

Woolwich put in a defence and on 19th may i got a notice of transfer of proceedings basically a copy of the banks defence.
Should I be doing something, because it's not clear, and I havent heard anything since. return the allocation questionnaire bit has been crossed out.
It also says without hearing that an allocation questionnaire must be dispensed and a fee may be payable..
aghh! what should i be doing, and is it odd that i dont have a court date??0 -
I sent my first letter in February and still havent had my claim settled.
I was going to go straight to MCOL now but it seems that some of you have had success by ringing - is it worth it do you think?
Also, do you think it makes a difference if my account is closed - are they less likely to offer if I am no longer a customer.
My claim is only for £340 compared to some on here its a drop in the ocean - I thought it would have been sorted out by now. Mind you - I have let them get away with it I guess!0
