    Happy spa day Raph

Oooh it was very nice :) had a lovely back, shoulder and neck massage. Then did lots of lengths in the pool and a couple of nice sessions in the steam room, jacuzzi and sauna.
I like going swimming, I always feel clean and fresh when I come out :p

First massage I've ever had, it was beautiful :D I'm feeling all chilled and oddly really motivated too!
I've convinced the wife to come out with me on my run later, she'll be on her bike.

Hehe I wish I could dodge the tax but unfortunately I'll still have to keep the part time job going !I did however tell the kids that if I got into uni I was going to shave half my head, have dreadlocks on the other half and change my name to Willow!

But ooh get you!!! Air hostess!! What a fantastic job. Are you practising at Debenhams? 'The bras are located here, here and here!' Which airline will you be with? Talk about glamourpuss!

I work on wedding gifts now! ha. Its only with easyjet, but i'm just applying for monarch too. Im a nervous flyer, so i went with an airline who flies shorthall, but now i wanna go long haul! ha. Undecisive.

So what do you want to do with this degree tagz,or should that be rolf? :p

Princess do you have a chart or table which shows muscle % ranges for females by age group? I've only ever been able to find an 'average' figure. I'd be very interested to know where I am on a range scale.

I don't do much in the way of muscle-building exercise because it would be too much for me to maintain, nearly all my stuff is cardio :).

Yep, in the booklet that came with the scale it shows the following figures:

    Ages 18-39:

    Low
    : <24.3%
    Normal: 24.3 - 30.3%
    High: 30.4 - 35.3%
Very high: >35.4 (or equal to)

    Ages 40-59

    Low
    : <24.1%
    Normal: 24.1 - 30.1%
    High: 30.2 - 35.1%
Very high: >35.2% (or equal to)

    Ages 60-80

    Low
    : <23.9%
    Normal: 23.9 - 29.9%
    High: 30 - 34.9%
Very high: >35 (or equal to)

  • I think i posted some pics of my run in France last time I went :) lovely long straight roads surrounded by hills and fields.

Are the C25K podcasts free? I've heard of them before, are they just music or motivational messages or what?? :)

A 1lbs loss for me this week, was on nights again last night. At least it's in the right direction.

Off for a spa day with the wife today :D

Yes they are free Raph from http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/couch-5K-running-plan.aspx

They are music with a ladies voice telling you how long you have been running or how long you have to go. It is also great to start and the ladies voice tell's you when to run and when to walk etc.... It has been perfect for me :D

Glad you had a lovely day with your wife That massage sounds lovely and just what I could do with at the moment :rotfl:

Fred - can you please add 3.78 miles to my total

Eric - I managed 35 mins non stop today and my average HR was 161 - now is that good ? what sort of HR should I be aiming for to get the best fat burning?

Betty - did you get out today and complete week 3 ?
    Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far :(
