Victory~You woulg get a brown envelope either way so I am confuddled :rotfl:
I am just having a laugh, meaning that I have got so far 2 brown envelopes (brown envelopes usually enclose bad news, bills, money to pay, money you owe them etc) and so I am sitting here dreading the third brown envelope with bad news in that I have not been awarded the Disability living allowance, therefore not getting any money and having to go to tribunal etc, just trying to lighten the mood:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I got the third brown envelope yesterday so I am up to three and still nothing:rotfl::D0 -

And since I've completed this month's challenge (and even gone over), I'm patting myself on the back:rotfl:Congratulations Matryoshka

Max Recovery - 47 minutes
Crosstrainer - *25 minutes 20 seconds (5k)
Exercise Bike - 31 minutes (10K)
* Decided to challenge myself at the gym to do 5k on the crosstrainer in 30minutes or less so it was Bam! Bam!! Bam!!! from the off. I had no time to slow down to wipe my brow or take a sip. Sweat was dripping off me. I kept on telling myself that I didn't need to do the challenge but oh no. Did I listen? Did I heck!!! I was going for it. Thought I wasn't going to make it but I did. In 25minutes 20 seconds :j:j:j Probably a doddle for most of you guys but I thought I was gonna die :rotfl:My heart was pumping it hard
The 10k bike ride afterwards was much easier.
Would I challenge myself again? You bet  What should I go for next time? :rotfl:
I'm insane :beer:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

The Dukan diet sounds like a recipe for misery to me.
Sorry Eric, cross posted with you!
Have a look at it in detail, and ignore all the stuff the DM writes about what the 'celebs' do. www.dukandiet.co.uk
Eric asks 'what's the rush'. The rush is that I am not here for ever - no one is! The fact is that in 2 years I've lost 7 kg. That's just over a stone. I now weigh 11 stone 5 pounds. That's waaay too much for my height - not quite 5 ft. I have not lost any at all in the last 6 months or so, just been bouncing around up, down, up, down, but essentially, not going anywhere.
Every time I go to the GP they mention 'weight'. I've been to the nurse practitioner's weight clinic at the surgery and decided she knew no more about it than I do. She talked about 'unlimited' or 'free' foods - well, if I ate the things she mentioned in an unlimited manner, the weight would go on, not come off, because they were all high-carbs - white pasta, white rice, those kinds of things.
Last week I went to see the dietitian after being referred from the GP and waiting 3 months for an appointment. She couldn't find anything I was doing wrong - I should be losing weight on what I eat. The point is, I'm not.
I used to log on to www.weighlossresources.co.uk and keep an online food diary. After doing this for 2 years, logging-in every morsel of food that passed my lips, I got sick to death of it. I was just not getting anywhere.
I've looked at WeightWatchers and can make no sense of their ProPoints system. Similar with SlimmingWorld, although my stepdaughter has been going to them and has just reached her target. She's lost 7 1/2 stone and has tried to explain it to me. I'm afraid it makes about as much sense as does WW.
I've looked at the Dukan website and it DOES make sense. So I'm going to give it a go, starting Sunday (we're away Friday/Saturday). Sunday morning breakfast, like we normally have on Christmas Day! - scrambled egg with smoked salmon, then lean beef for lunch. For 2 days it's not such a big deal, and then the rest of it - I could get to 60 kg by mid-October. That would be a 12.4 kg loss from what I weigh today, nearly another 2 stone.
Obviously what I'm doing at present is NOT going to shift any further. Maybe age is a factor, possibly, but that also means that I haven't got all the time in the world!Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

I put my details in and got this:This is your True Weight - Congratulations!
If the information that you have given is correct, your true weight is 9 st 11 lbs, and you do not need any slimming coaching. Your weight is right for you.SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

Hiya all, can I join in please?
I've been scared into losing weight after a diabetes shock and joined WW via my GP.
I'm finding it okay and have joined the WW site as well doing a blog (linkie) but having never done anything like this before finding it hard to get motivated when have no idea of what to cook some nights. It's not such of a struggle on the pro points but understanding the best way to do this if you get what I mean!0 -

when i say whats the rush i mean, why go through the week of hell on the attack phase when on a primal diet you will get the same effect in 3 weeks of fairly normal eating
but i hope it works for you :T
keep us updated with whats involved :j0
