  • I bought the roasted beans so I can be like Eric :p I'm a bit scared of them - esp the peas...

Congrats on everything you have achieved - it is truly inspiring.

I need to eat more fruit and veg, especially veg - I love it, but it never seems that convenient. And more water, less 7UP Free

Big Tescos, but they're by Food Doctor, so I guess you can get them anywhere that sells that. Apparently it's a great source of protein!

Liked the idea of the above so downloaded the first podcast and tried it tonight.

I used a small school playing field and park a few minutes away and as it was so close I took the dog. Anyway after the five minutes of brisk walking I do the first 60 second run, 10 seconds from the end the dog, bless her, takes my legs out from under me and I hit the floor (luckily wet grass) but then my calf cramps up and it takes 5 minutes before it uncramps.

Anyhow I continue and finish it but now my calf is stiffening up and I will be lucky to walk tomorrow. who said exercise is good for you.

Ahh tough one, Friday I will travelling from deepest darkest Essex to Cornwall for a week away, I will be taking the podcasts so if I do recover from the 300+ mile journey I will give it a go :) Certainly I hope to get to week 2 before I come home. Nice to have a fellow [STRIKE]sufferer[/STRIKE] sorry runner :D

ahhh uncle eric has an answer for veg, which is a major part of my diet

I have tonnes of these microwavable veg bags in the freezer, so handy, always fresh veg available and in controlled portions

Tescos have there own version as well

I dont eat the ones with corn thou (too carby)

Just chuck a couple of bags in the old ping ping machine for 5 mins and your done, I tend to under cook them a little and i do not let them stand as i like my veg a but crunchy

if the 7up is made with sucrolose then it is fine imo, if its aspartame i wouldn't touch it

    34.1% protein
    23.5% carbs
    2.4% sugar
    13% fat
    21.2% fibre !!!

so there high protein low GI with a huge amount of fibre

whilst I am on this low carb kick I am using them like a slice of bread, 30g per slice
