now here is something very interesting i had not seen before

    carbcurve.gif

for the past few months i had been hovering at around 100-140g of carbs a day and loosing about 1lbs a week, 2 weeks ago i dropped to 70g a day (the sweet spot) and started loosing 3.5lbs a week, same exercise, same calories in

a quick google and i found this

So maybe, just maybe if I stopped eating my daily rice, my tummy might just go down  I just don't know what to swap rice for though. On the days I work (3 days a week), it's so easy to bung it into the rice cooker, do my exercise, shower and the rice is ready. I add vegetables and curry (meat/fish/chicken) and take to work to have for my lunch. I could eat a salad but most often I fancy something hot!!!!

    Today's workout:

Max Cardio Conditioning - 47 minutes

    Cardio Abs - 17 minutes

    *Crosstrainer - 29 minutes 54 seconds

    Powerplate - 5 minutes

    Exercise Bike - 40 minutes

Total: Can't work it out :rotfl:

    * Didn't set a challenge today but without even trying, I did my 5k in under 30minutes so well pleased.

The powerplate doesn't half make me itch. My legs itch like crazy after I go on it :rotfl: A PT was quietly giggling away when he saw me itching. He said he had the same problem whenever he went on it and a lady said she didn't itch. Wonder why some people itch and some don't.

  • I recommend if you're trying to lose weight that you make your breakfast the biggest meal of the day, your lunch the second biggest and your dinner the smallest. If you need to snack just eat fruit.

It's easier to lose weight if you don't cut out certain meals, just alter them.

Skinny water is good because it makes you less hungry and helps you to burn calories.

Lowcarbers: do you eat honey? It seems to be pretty high in carbs, but do the health benefits make it worth it? And the fact that you have relatively little of it? Is agave nectar any better?

I would like to mix some up with greek yogurt, but don't want to shoot myself in the foot in the process...

I had stir fried veg with a piece of trout for lunch today, and I am going to have some strawberries in a little while. Really feel like I'm not eating enough fruit and veg at the moment, and I think that's why I'm having some digestive ~difficulties~ :p

ETA: And it was aspartame in my precious 7UP Free, so I got the very very basics sainsburys one today as not only did it have sucralose as the sweetner, but it had the shortest ingredients list - although I'm not sure what 'flavourings' are. The thing about the 7UP Free was that it was meant to be 'natural', so natural flavourings etc - but I'm fairly confident that aspartame does for my eczema, so we shall see. I know I shouldn't drink the stuff at all, and I only drink water at work, but something about the bubbles pleases me...

trials have shown that it doesn't really matter when you eat, its the total daily amount that counts

and as for skinny water :rotfl:

the carb thing is pretty straight forward, try to eat low GI carbs only and restrict the total amount of carbs you eat apart from that knock yourself out :)

aspartame is evil crap, it can penetrate the blood brain barrier (and not much can) so is a definite thing to avoid
