the supermarkets switched to sucrolose after that last lot of research about it

why do most gps and nutritionists still tell people that a low fat high carb diet is the way to loose weight or that sat fat clogs arteries?

maybe aspartame is cheap, but i suspect its addictive, thats the only reason they put caffeine in drinks, its mildly addictive

i guess the best thing to do is avoid everything artificial

    Hello,
Hope you don't mind me joining in (seems like the right place to be). I need to lose some weight and hope you great people here may be able to point me in the right direction. I have looked at cabbage soup, ww, slimming world etc and I just don't know where to start. I have just bought myself a wii and wii sports, now just need to sort out my diet. I have 1.5 - 2 stone to lose. Just started the dreaded mid life hormonal imbalance thing too!. Hope someone may be able to help. Thank you all.

    Welcome Maureen

Dont think about cabbage soup or anything similar.
Healthy eating & some excercise if you can manage it is the way to go I think.
Keep posting and you will get lots of support.

A very good half day, up until dinner time when i went food shopping for the week with my mum, who then decided that she would treat me and the kids to a chip shop dinner, so i had a few chips and a battered sausage.
Tomorrow, me and all the family are meant to be going for a meal, hopefully they will have a very very healthy option. and a big no to desserts. Gonna try out my juicer in the morning as i havent used it since i brought it but have brought alot of fruit from asda so will have a go.
    Congratulations vix
